I didn't look at your updated lyrics, to be honest. I assumed you were combining that version with a bunch of others.

Wal-mart - Corporate Power Run Amuck?
Monochrome Rainbow replied to supercanuk's topic in Politics and Debate: WRONG!
Sorry if I was confusing, supercanuk; I think you misunderstood. I don't expect anyone to boycott, I was stating that I find it hard to be critical of some of Wal-Mart's actions at times because it's how they sell their products at such low prices. It's hard to hate what they do when their price points make such a huge difference for a lot of families. -
Yeah, like I said, Sandler's performance in this is really something. I will probably see it again.

These look good with the exception of grammatical errors: I know that it's bad That it's the kind that they can't operate on And I know it's real slow, honey Painful and real slow Styrofoam coffee cups and bagged drugs that never work enough And I know its real slow, honey Painful and real slow When we were young and hit like hammers I'd rap the nails in your hands When 99% of us is failure There's no going back And I know its real slow, honey Painful and real slow Blackbird come the break of dawn The TVs on, I turn it off Walk outside, get in the car Stare at the wheel and fall apart I get it all the time Bright eyes to bat and hide behind But I know they're just for show, honey Painful and just for show Black rooms to babysit and white halls to pace and wait for it And I know it's too slow, honey Painful and real slow When we were young and hit like hammers I'd rap the nails in your hands When 99% of us is failure There's no going back And I know its real slow, honey Painful and real slow Blackbird come the break of day You swallow the shit that people say Walk outside look at the sky Ask it to fall or tell you why

No... Well, not really. You'll understand once you see it. It's not really a typical Adam Sandler movie at all so it's hard to have the typical ending. It just left a few unanswered questions, sorta... I don't want to say much 'cause it may ruin it while you're watching.

You really should; you won't be disappointed. Plus they include The Who's "Love Reign O'er Me" throughout. The ending wasn't spectacular (decent, but not incredible) but overall I was really impressed.

Wal-mart - Corporate Power Run Amuck?
Monochrome Rainbow replied to supercanuk's topic in Politics and Debate: WRONG!
Yeah, I'm kind of torn. I refuse to shop at Wal-Mart because of a lot of their actions but I can't be mad at the fact that because my girlfriend's sister (mother of a newborn who recently split with her partner) shops at Wal-Mart she can afford to put away some money for her son's education and whatnot, whereas normally she probably would barely be able to make ends meet. -

I find Walmart has terrible customer service. And other stores sell at comparable prices on certain items. The only difference is Walmart basically has everything you need in one spot and good prices, so you get one stop shopping. I just go to individual stores to get certain things rather than going to Walmart to get everything. -
Yeah, 'cause it ADDS thoughts to your brain about not doing drugs. Duh. Edit: In response to James.

"Nail her with two rubbers" should have been an option.

Anyone Seen The New Tarintino Movie?

Hobo with A Shotgun was made by a guy in Dartmouth. -
Not patriotic at all. His family just died in the 9/11 attacks, which when they first mentioned it in the movie (had no idea it referenced 9/11 before going) I cringed a bit and thought it was gimmicky but then just reminded myself about how families were actually torn apart that day and just chalked it up to the writers picking a particular event so that the audience may connect with the character more. His family died in the attack and they basically left it at that, no cause for me to assume it was remotely patriotic. And James, yeah that was awesome. I can't believe they focused on that as much as they did.

99% all the way. It has made me 100 times more excited for the new album.

I can't wait to go back to school.

I've met a member of the old APH at a Rocketface show here. Never a Bored member at an MG concert though. Mayhaps next time MG comes to Halifax (pleeeaaaaase be this tour). I may even consider a Montreal road trip if I have to this time around.

It's true; lots of rap artists have hit songs.

I saw this earlier today and I must say that Adam Sandler's performance in this is fantastic. Everyone should definitely check it out.

She's In It For The Money (on Matthewgood.org Now)

I like Song For The Girl, although it is my least favorite off of the album. And sounds somewhat out of place. -
Fo' real, dawg. Peace. Edit: Firefox is awesome, Tim. I did have it bookmarked before I formatted but I find typing is faster.

Here's hoping you're wrong. I'm hoping it's one of the worst on the album. Don't get me wrong, I do like the song but it's lacking compared to most other MG tracks, in my opinion. I'm hoping it's this albums Song For The Girl. -
I type "nea" and Firefox does the rest.

I owned Animal Years prior to Matt mentioning it (albeit not long before). Was recommended through a friend to pick it up after mentioning I was a fan of Pilate (Speed... *shudder*). I gotta admit I don't really get how he made the connection but I really do enjoy the album.

Downloaded but haven't listened yet, Chris. -
I hear more Americans say "eh" than Canadians. Same with "aboot".
