  1. May 24 is the finale
  2. My best driving feat is driving stick in rush hour stop & go, eating McNuggets and holding the s&s sauce in my left hand the whole time. I called that the after-school special (usually once a week in College). My overall preference is driving with my left at the top of the wheel and the right relaxing/playing with the stereo. If I'm driving long distances I will sometimes drive with my left foot or rest my left foot on the dash/left heater area. P. S. And I love it when fruit juice drips in between the shirt (of my gf) so I can go juice diving ;) EDIT: P. S. S. Ya Oshawa sucks! The only places to go are the polluted lake/beach or Le 'Snatch' (No not a strip joint, they got rid of them all).
  3. old school's the first that comes to mind...nothing beats the easter egg where Will Ferrell's throwing beers at the wall while watching Girls Gone Wild...
  4. Ya...nice! I usually remember most of my drunk nights, but they usually fly by anyways, so there's not much to piece together. One of the worst stories was last December: every year there is an advertising party called the BES at the Sheraton. It's free booze from 5-7 and then you have to hit up sales reps or friends for drink tickets. I get there at 5:30 and pound back about 8 50-50 vodka sprites before 7pm. Tanked out of my mind, I ask one of my sales reps if he wants to go smoke a joint, he says sure...a few minutes later my client from Home Depot shows up and I immediately ask him "want to smoke a joint?", he thinks for a second and says "Yeaaaaaa". That was how I spent my night, drinking my face off and smoking every few hours. I get home around 2am and smoke one last J and pass out. When my alarm went off for work the next morning, I felt like I closed my eyes and woke up instead of getting any sleep. Due to this, I'm still wasted and baked out of my mind at 7:30am. I puke down the door of my mom's van (borrowed from work) as she drives me to the GO (train) station. Luckily she doesn't see/hear, so I kick it out the door when she drops me off. Then I get to sit on the train for the next 45 mins as it rocks from side to side...I sat near the bathroom in case I had to puke again (luckily I managed). I work the full morning wasted & baked, before I sober up at lunch. That was one of the roughest times of my life. I think I'll take it easier this year.
  5. Simpsons blow. They burned out about 4 or 5 seasons ago, but I still watch for the odd laugh. Family Guy is the same old, same old...but I'm really getting anooyed when they keep going over the top (Quagmire especially has been out of control lately...too much). Futurama will always be a gem. I hope they don't bring it back, because then it can't be ruined, I've watched a lot of epsodes over and over again and still enjoy them. I didn't like it at first, but after a few episodes I was hooked. South Park will always be the best of them all though. They can always push the bar to the perfect extent. There's not too many episodes that I don't laugh all the way through or not be shocked at some of the things they do (The second kid up crabtree's snatch in the 'krazy kenny episode'...*shudder*)
  6. Cabin Fever was a total waste with really dumb characters. The rednecks were the dumbest part. Haven't seen Hostel yet, but I have it burned.
  7. I agree...Anyone who asks me about M:I 3, I say this: "If you don't hate Tom Cruise and you don't hate the other M:I's, this will be one of the best movies you'll see. The only bad part about the movie, is that Kanye West ruined/butchered the theme song." I'd rank this in my top 10 action flicks. The first 1/4 is pretty slow, but the rest is heart racing. PSH is amazing as the bad guy, the plot is decent & intense. I walked away happy.
  8. Non-cable company PVR's have been on the market for at least 1 year. They range in price ($300-2,000) mostly based on hard drive (30GB-300GB). Nothing as advanced as Tivo, but they're coming close...so far here the features I've seen: - Record while watching another program (or the beginning of the program you're recording - Record 2 shows at once - 181 channel TV Tuner & Guide (through network cable internet connection) with 8 day guide - 32 slots to program - Different recording and playback types - different memory card slots - Editing, sorting & cataloguing features - Pause live TV I've been looking to get one for a while, but there isn't one that has all the features I want.
  9. Well last I heard, they were talking about developing her character to get out of her hardass shell and more sensitive...and ya, they've done it a bit...but not to the extent it sounded like they want to. That's what leads me to believe she's not toast...and they only said she's dead...referring to one of them...and Libby got the worst of it I think.
  10. I saw the original version a while back, and it's good, but not cult-worthy to me. I have the director's cut on rent right now, so stay tuned and I'll let you know which one I prefer.
  11. I voted apparitions (with weapon & rico close behind) Totally forgot about Strange Days (which would be #1), but blame that on the poll creator and it's been a long day for me.
  12. I noticed someone recording Melissa's set & Hurt at the Toronto show, but didn't see them around for Matt's set. The Van DVD rumours have been going around since the shows.
  13. 1999 - Muchmusic or the radio - Load Me Up Subsequently bought BM & went to Edgefest in '99 or '00 (Whichever year Creed headlined and nobody stuck around for EDIT: Including me).
  14. I'm a little behind...but in College I took 2 elective courses online... It was sweet, work at your own pace, and they had a percentage of total completion...so the second I had 50%, that was it...screw GPA's, they don't mean shit in the real world (unless you're applying to be a kiss-ass and show up at the interview with someone sitting on your head)
  15. I read today that this is the 7th time in a row that the Flames have lost a game 7 at home But yeah, there was 0 effort in that game. Even with the fans yelling "GO Flames GO" all night. That dude/dudette on the horn must've been pissed they were blowing that thing all night for nothing. Oh Well...Go Sens (Followed by Oilers)
  16. This week's episode kicks ass...Who'da thunk he would've shot those 2 and himself... I think the Others brainwashed him or made a truce to renite him with Walt if he rescued "Henry". The biggest question is...Is this really the consequence for drunk driving? ;) lol
  17. Without looking at my vast collection and definately not the "official list" as I have a life ;) Saturday - Hedley (original band version, not the Hedley today version) The Rat Who Would Be King - MG Been Thinking About You - Radiohead Green Eyes - Coldplay *TIE* Love Is A Place / Too Little Too Late - BOTH Metric
  18. I think it's about time...in the past, there seems to have been 2 sides: Side A) The industry and big top artists/bands (Metallica) Side B) Indie and small artists/bands It's nice to see that the lines have merged, but the sides can still be defined: Side A) Greedy industry people & artists/bands that swim in money and live in a dream world Side B) Indie/small artists/bands and people that live in reality I think the biggest factor in Side A turning into Side B is the success of so many indie bands based on illegal downloading/bootlegs. I know you're all gonna hate this example, but if you look at Hedley...they were incredibly successful in BC & Alberta based on touring around, giving their music for free on their website and allowing bootlegs/videos at all of their shows. They grew for 2 years before he "sold out" and went on Idol to gain cross-Canada fame. Other than MG & Hedley I haven't bought a CD since at least '00. Mostly because I looked at my collection and how many albums I bought for 1 or 2 songs (that the rest of the CD blew chunks). So I figured why not download the 1 or 2 songs I like and if the rest are good, then I'll contribute to their CD sales. Which is what the industry is finally realizing...if the quality is there when people are downloading, they'll buy the CD eventually (or the next one if they're not inclined since they have all of album 1 dl'd).
  19. I'm sure I'm not the only one who watches this. I just finished watching the season finale and holy sh*t, that was intense. Talk about finishing it up with a perfect cliffhanger. All I got to say is WB/City better renew for next season and not leave us hanging. I've noticed a trend with TV in general (this show included) where most of the season is so-so and off topic (including way back to the X-Files) and then the last 5 episodes get story heavy leading up to the cliffhanger. IT would be better if the story flowed a bit more, but I guess it works better this way.
  20. little nicky
  21. In a recent SL Jackson interview, he said "I didn't even read the script, I looked at the title and said yes. I mean 'snakes on a plane', how complicated can the story be'"
  22. that would be
  23. sin city (...)
