  1. Thanks for that. I like to keep track of these ;)
  2. Ya 2, stellar, acoustics are enough for now. "I wanna rock..."
  3. Woohoo and I have some mushrooms...hooray lol
  4. I'm a little late to this thread as I haven't been on in a while, but I am one of the few Hedley defenders on here lol. While I do agree most of their album & post-album songs aren't that out of the ordinary, there are a few good tunes here and there. They did decent covers of Rage's Bulls On Parade (with an original solo that sounded awesome) and Killing In The Name. The teenybopper crowd is shitty at concerts, but if you hit a 19+ show or at least one with an adult (re: drinking) section it's a decent time. Like most bands, their early indie/demo days (then known as "hedley." and before reforming the band around Jacob) is where the best tracks lie. After going from that to Universal's commerialized songs, I was pretty disappointed overall. If there's interest, look for the old version of Saturday (live with Jacob giving an intro), either version of What Smiles Can't Afford (live or studio) or Lost In A Field Of Flowers Called Empty. They had another handful of songs on top of that, PM me if you want to know more. Let the Hedley bashing continue...
  5. If anyone has the audio for this can you PM me please? Either a link or I'll give you my email/MSN address. Thanks in advance!
  6. Is the extended version similar to the one Matt posted on Aug. 12? Something to do with: "You know it's true, there's nothing I can do about you" Can someone email me a copy please? hoverball (at) hotmail (dot) com

  8. I agree with OTP, tanlines are the shit! Nothing hotter on a woman. As for not wanting them, try a tube top, but tie it up so you only cover the stuff you never show in other clothes. Not sure if a strpless would work with D, but I've seen it work on a C.
  9. I refuse to believe that about a song that rhymes "Tied up" with "Cried up" It's 'you've cried out' btw. And it goes with the meaning behind the song. You can easily skip over the lyrics and think it's just another song. And after I posted that, I realized I would sum it up to one of the best songs of this decade (2000+). That way some of you won't be insulted that much, 'cause even I'll admit that there's much better stuff out there.
  10. Tripping up the stairs goes hand in hand with stubbing toes. I do that almost daily.
  11. I know I'm gonna get a lot of jokes on this one, but... (0ld) Hedley - Saturday The lyrics, the music, the flow and the meaning behind it are too powerful not to be one of the best ever. Don't knock it 'til you've heard it. And this isn't the album version. If anyone really wants to hear it, PM me.
  12. I bought so many sweatshirts and other items of clothes for $5 each at Bluenotes/Thrifty's/whatever over the years. It's all about the sale rack baby...
  13. Well let's start with commuter transit today since I have a 'greeeaaat' experience with that one: 1) When you're on the TTC or GO, do not stand over someone sitting down and scarf down several muffins while dropping tons of crumbs on the person sitting. And when you see that person brushing the crumbs off their shoulders, legs, seat, etc... that is a clear sign not to shove another muffin down your throat. 2) Just because the train is loud, doesn't mean you have to scream at the top of your lungs for the person across from you to hear you. Instead the whole train can hear your crappy life and crappy opinions...above their ipods being blasted. 3) If you're an overly large person, do not cram your fat into a window seat. I do not want to be reaching to put my elbow on the armrest and come in contact with your 'love handles' hanging over. 4) Just because their is a space for someone to stand by the door on the GO, doesn't mean that you should force your way through the line, past the people who are already in line, so that the space is filled. 5) People are alway bitching about kids and their backpacks. I can honestly say that am I usually good with not hitting people with my backpack. I rotate my body through crowds and it is very rare when I hit someone and when I do I always say sorry. So for people who bitch about backpacks, I am bitching about briefcases, purses, handbags, shoulderbags and anything else you may be carrying. They are just as bad as backpacks. I get him almost daily by chicks and their purses who do not apologise. That's about all I can think about right now...I'm sure you could all add to this.

Ya I saw about that girl beiong the one, but there's no way you saw what happened to her coming. That's what I meant by a shock.
  15. I heard a rumour that the Leafs are interested in Roloson and he wants to come here. There ma possibly be a Belfour-Roloson trade coming down the pipes...I'm not sure if I should be excited about this, but I would feel sorry for Edmonton if it happened. As long as the Leafs ditch Belfour and Domi I'll be happy. Oh and they gotta finish the McCabe deal.
  16. anyone have a copy they could share?

I saw the first part of that coming. The other part was kind of a shock, but not as much as what I mentioned.
  18. I read today that Katey Sagal said in an interview that Futurama is signed onto Comedy Central for 13-16 brand new episodes...and there's still the direct-to-dvd movie in 2007. Hooray! (say it in a Zoidberg way)
  19. How about this classic: "Don't drink to get drunk, drink because you like the taste"...spoken by a true alcoholic. On the same note, in a recent poll of over 1,000 people (M&W), here were the approximate results: 50% drink to get drunk 25% drink to get laid 15% drink for the taste 10% drink for (whatever other reason...I forget)
  20. I watched Highwaymen last night. They did quite a bit with so little (a hit & run killer that is being tracked by one of his victim's lover, Jim Caviezel). It was decent enough to watch again, although one part was a little sketchy.
  21. I wanted to take my gf to see Keane, one of her favs, at the Mod Club on Monday, but Ticketmaster is a rape artist. Let me know if anyone has tickets they want to unload. Hedley, yes Hedley, is playing a few free outdoor concerts I might go to, but that should be it.
  22. Someone at my work confused Matt Good with Dave Matthews last week. And I don't like any of his music that I've heard. It's mostly his voice.
  23. If so, please read http://www.nearfantastica.com/bored/index....=ST&f=10&t=8093
  24. If so, let me know and I'll buy them if you're not gouging. My story is below (alos posted in the daily complaint thread): I hate Ticketmaster!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! On Monday, Keane announced their playing the Mod Club on the 26th and tickets go on sale Friday at 10am. So here I am on the internet and on the phone at 9:55am plugging away trying to get tickets and it goes from not available to sold out at about 10:00.02.....WTF!!! I talk to a girl on the phone and she says, oh it must be a small venue and everyone in Ontario wants tickets...what fucking BS. That means that 500-1500 people bought tickets and 10:00.00 and 10:00.01 I go onto Ebay at about 10:05 and there's already tickets on there. They were $25CDN to buy and the minimum bid is $90USD with a buy now price of $250USD. I hate people (except you guys). If anyone has tickets to unload, let me know please. Dan
  25. I have my on and off days. Sometimes I get drunk after half a glass of 25-50% hard liquor mixed drinks. Other days it takes 6 or 7 rounds. The worst lightweight I knew was a girl that was 5' 100lbs. We drank for 15 hours that night and she refused to drink until 11pm, she had the neck of a cooler and was almost on her ass.
