  1. I really thought you were going to end that with "and slide it in each other." That would've been the best insult of OTP I've seen, but alas, I was dissapointed. Sorry to bring this back up, but I thought it was worth mentioning. Back on topic...
  2. Every city/town/hole in the wall has the same street names. Every place has a Main St, an Ontario St, etc... Unless you're a street history specialist, how would you know that Oshawa wasn't the first to use these? Back on topic, I don't have any 'shwa stories today, so I figured I'd ask Kyle where in the 'shwa he has the pleasure of calling home? I'm down at Park & Philip Murray and have been between Park & Simcoe and south of Wentworth my whole life, hooray for the south end.
  3. rumour has it...alright, but the topic switches half way through which kind of drove me nuts...not the best Aniston flick out there.
  4. I thought they played like the Leafs on Monday...not taking shots, not properly one-timing (stopping the puck, winding up, shooting), bad positioning, etc... And that's a sad, sad analogy... But I'm still a Leafs fan, I can't help it...
  5. I went rollerblading to the Beach @ Simcoe yesterday and it was fairly nice. I must say the best of Oshawa must've been out yesterday...and the Lake didn't stink. So major plus's for the usual dirty 'shwa.
  6. who?????
  7. Thanks for covering my back, maybe we should change the thread title to "soccer (football) sucks"
  8. I can't see him going considering he boycotts almost every single award show. Don't you know your MG history?
  9. First off, Ryan44 - I would not make shit up to impress people on the Bored. Only OTP does that...just kidding. But seriously, I don't have the creativity to make this shit up. Even if you don't believe this, it doesn't matter. And I have tons of stupid driving stories, so hopefully you'll belive a few and get some laughs. Yam/Sparq - At the time, shit like this seemed fun and awesome. Looking back I realize how stupid we were, but that's life and how you learn. I posted this to give you all some laughs and to share our stories. Not to tell me how dumb I am and that I should be kicked in the nuts. That was 'college & pizza driver' Dan, not current Dan. Speaking of highbeams...One time me and my friends were coming back from a joyride in Scugog (North of the 'shwa in the country) and we were highbeaming people for the fun of it. Just as I think to myself, hey I should stop because the 'fuzz' patrols up to here (Conlin Rd, at the North border of 'shwa), I end up flashing a cop. I hit the gas and watch in the mirror as the cop attempts a Uee and luckily I was heading over a crest so I was out of sight momentarily. I pull into Durham College residence driveway and shutoff my car just as the cop car drives by at high speeds looking for me. The sad part is this wasn't my first time running from the cops.
  10. I'm sure we all have tons of car/driving stories (probably mostly from our teen years), so I figured it would be worth a laugh to talk about them. The rules: 1) What's told on the forum, stays on the forum (mostly because a few of my stories involve cops and I'm on the lam) 2) You can only tell 1 story at a time 3) Give it some time in between stories so it's not a 2 or 3 person conversation. If no ones has posted a story the day after yours, you can post your next story Here goes... One night me and my friends decided to go egging and I happened to have a black car with a sunroof. We took the sunroof out so it wasn't too obvious where the eggs came from. We're going north on Simcoe St just past Adelaide (4 lanes wide - 2 by 2) and we launch an egg at a Bronco and later turn down a sidestreet. I'm at the stop sign at Mary St and I see the Bronco turn the corner like a maniac. I gun it left and go North on Mary. They proceed to follow us so I take off worried he'll get my plates and bust us. So we're going at 90km+ weaving in and out of traffic. He ends up being bumper to bumper with me at one point trying to scare the crap out of us doing high speeds. Shortly after we're approaching an intersection and there's a few cars lined up and the lights red. I'm freaking out with this guy on my bumper so I decide to go into the opposing lane and run the light. Luckily the light changes just as we go through (no t-boning) and shortly after the Bronco must've decided we were nuts and turned around. And that was probably the last time I egged a passing car... (You might think this was amazing, but this is only one of my many, many driving stories...let's hear some of yours)
  11. I almost forgot about that Xbox ad...good stuff. And that World Cup ad had me busting a gut...also good stuff. Reminded me of "Matrix Ping Pong" though. (If you haven't seen it, search it...I don't have it).
  12. I pooped my pants!!! (Just kidding and that was an Ike from South Park flashback) Graduated high school Graduated College Landed a wicked job with people I like Travelled a lot the last few years (mostly Canada) Money in the bank and a girl at home Friends & family that are great Living life to the fullest
  13. Wow, that WASN'T unnecessary. Chacun son gout. Anyhow, I'm in for Holland. I expected an insult in return...but I guess no ones into playing games. But it's cool.
  14. Won a trip to Calgary, heading out July 4-9 for fun, Stampede (7&8), Banff and whatever else. Lots of the usual...car shows, Wonderland, Wasaga Beach/trailer, scuba diving, Temagami, watersports (waterskiing, wakeboarding, scuba diving, boating, tubing), partying, maybe a Champ Car race (Denver or Montreal (for year 3))...not sure what else.
  15. Haven't seen bound yet...unfortuately. Showgirls she was kindof hot in a cougar type of way. Back on track...I saw the Break Up last night. It was good, but only because it was true to life. If this was more like your average rom-com, it would've sucked. But since they kept it so true to life (ex. JA wipes her nose with her hand when she's crying instead of using a tissue) it's something you can relate to, which makes it great. The critics said it was awkward and unfunny because there is a lot of fighting, but as I said before, true to life. I would recommend it, but be prepared for a lot of fighting and awkwardness in the first bits. It has it's funny moments, but it's more of a drama.
  16. I think I would say the same, but I'm not totally sure.
  17. Oilers win. A fine game by Markkanen...first star. That means the players will have confidence in him. Looks like we have ourselves a series...
  18. Most of my emails have basic one eord answers. I guess I never ask anything meaningful or he doesn't have the time and/or care. But it's all good.
  19. drinking fountain (that's what we used them for)
  20. what's the difference? One is satan, the other is hell. You figure out which is which.
