If anyone has a nicer offer with a more reasonable price/profit, I'll gladly take 2 or more tickets. Email me at [email protected] if you have some for sale. Thanks, Dan

I had the same problem with both Big City Life files. I emailed Anton and he re-sent, but I had the same problem with those files.

I agree. A great read, some stories suck, but most are entertaining. Ths stories that link up to the songs (Mr Chips, Jenni, etc...) blow my mind, cuz when you read, you can actually picture Matt going through some of it and it makes you wonder if any of it is real (event though Matt said it's all made up) but it makes you wonder, since he spends so much time on certain topics & characters. Anyone know a good site for the contents of Black Market Surgery or have the text that they could send me? I had one, but the site shut down. Thanks, Dan

Black Helicopter (demo)- Merry Xmas Everyone

I totally agree. While WLR&RR wasn't amazing, it's was still decent enough. BSOBL and a few others pulled up the slack. It would take 2-3 really bad albums to turn me away from all future MG. D -
Ditto to that! Although I also tend to speak and listen on and off while listening to either.

As far as I know, The Rat wasn't played until the Put Out Your Lights Tour (Fall 2004) not WLRARR Tour (Spring 2004). Correct me if I'm wrong. Dan

ditto for me. but my total score still sucked, but those questions sucked too.

It was my pleasure. And as for it being matt-centric, it is a Matt Good concert ;) Anyways, I tried to get the other band members in here and there, but with the lighting, there was never really a good time to focus on them, plus I was centre stage and Matt was blocking most of the drums, so... Anyways, that was from my Kodak digital camera. I can't believe my battery held up the whole show. I ran out of room before the battery even came close to dying, so that's cool. Dan

That's awesome about Radiohead. The worst I've seen so far in my 10+ concert-going career, is last year at the Kool Haus. There was a small group of moshers at the Matt Good concert last fall. The main one had a long spiked mohawk and was moshing constantly. Matt seemed to tolerate it until they started moshing to "Can't get shot in the back if you don't run". That's when Matt got pissed and starting swearing and making fun of the moshers. My friend talked to the spike guy and he seemed cool about it after though. Maybe he did too many drugs to care ;) Dan P.S. That's 60 baby, here I come lounge.

Please detail...this story seems funny I second that motion... You "Frenchies" seem crazy (no offence). Dan

I'm almost there. I have some RK stuff, no BT and not much else. Are the links in the Lounge different than what's available in the NF store (or the same songs)?

Didn't Win To Get In The Ottawa Show?...no Problem
Hoverball replied to Ray_Gun's topic in Matthew Good
are you for real?! well, since these other people aren't our spouses or friends...fuck'em why should someone whose waited an hour or more give up their spot to someone who waited 5 minutes? that's so assinine for you to even say. if you can't plan your day accordingly, it's not the other concert goers problem I should've seen this coming, since you 2 are Americans.... Anyways, let me rephrase myself...I went off on a tangent instead of focusing on the problem. Yes, those who wait in line to get good spots, shouldn't have to give up spots for people who didn't wait. The main reason for my bitching is the 'trees' who didn't wait, but proceed to the front and start blocking other people's views. At the Mod Club last year, we had 5 ogres that forced their way through the crowd and blocked our view. So sorry for the confusion. Dan Clearly being American has so much to do with this. I never knew Canadians could read minds, thus knowing exactly what you meant even though what you said was vague and seemed to mean something else. If I misinterpreted you, I apologize, and I will be first to admit that a lot of Americans have terrible attitudes and superiority complexes. HOWEVER, it is unfair to generalize this to all Americans, and bringing my nationality into a dispute that has nothing to do with it is unfair and juvenile. LOL Straight up, some of these guys were just being jerks, so I figured I would play their game. I know there are a lot of people that go to message boards just to rile people up (my brother is one of them, he actually got everyone to abandon a message board because he pissed them off so much). Anyways, I didn't mean to offend anyone outside of this conversation, so for that I apologise. I know not all Americans carry the personas or opinions of so many others. I actually have a few American friends, so it's all good. And Inacoma, if 5'11" is a midget to you, then by all means feel free to call me a midget. Freedom of speech right! My trees/ogres comments were only meant for fun and while I thought I was the first to refer to tall people as this, I actually overheard someone bitch about an "ogre" at the recent Phoenix concert, so I'm not the only one as I thought. Thanks, Dan -
The cross-overs of characters in Matt's work has always blown my mind. Especially reading ALTINLTS when Mr. Chips and Jenny both popped up. It blows my mind to think whether these are figures in his head or events that have actually happened to him. Especially since he writes some of it so you picture him actually going throught the stories. Thanks, Dan P. S. Itching ever so closely to the magic "60"

That wwas a good one, I didn't even think of that! honestly I think he should just do everyone acoustic. 1) I don't know if I agree with that... In my opinion, the majority of acoustic songs come off sounding depressing (which is okay in small doses). If he did a whole show of acoustic songs, he would have to be careful. I personally like a mix. 2) I disagree with some of the songs you guys are recommending for acoustic, specifically the slower songs (ABAHM and other slower songs). These to me seem almost half acoustic anyways, so adapting them into acoustic songs seems too easy. For example - Strange Days, I didn't see the need to acousticize that one on Rooms. I felt a little ripped off at first, but it's Matt's show/CD so he gets to make the choices. I would've rather seen a song that you wouldn't think acoustic would work (I.E. Hello Time Bomb). Which I know a lot of you dislike, and I didn't like it at first, but it really grew on me and is probably one of my favourite Rooms songs now. Thanks, Dan
