Azalroth, how is Geist? It looks alright, but not my style. I wanted my gf to try it, but she doesn't like war games... I personally love driving/racing games: - The Burnout series (1, 2:point of impact, 3:takedown, 4:revenge) just keeps getting better and better. I haven't played in a while though. - The GTA series never gets old. - The Super Monkey Ball series is fun for a while, until it gets difficult. The multiplayer games are fun for. - Pikmin was awesome at first, but now it's kind of lame. I lost interest half way through the second one. - Hot Shots Golf (2,3,4,open tee) are all good

holy fuck is awesome live Holy Fuck was kind of weird. It's all music, but you can definately groove to it. It would be awesome if you were on drugs.

Family Stone - Sarah Jessica Parker plays an uptight businesswoman trying to fit in with her boyfriend's semi-traditional family at Christmas. More of a Dramedy, but it had it's funny moments and a stellar cast. Claire Danes is as hot as ever...

As I said in the 'other' Hostel thread...for a movie that's suppose to be graphic torture, there's not much that I haven't seen in other movies (minus the end).

I was gonna ask the same question. Cube was good (although more killing/traps would've been better than Quentin going nuts). Cube 2 was confusing and forgettable. I read the Wiki summary and didn't remember half of it. Anyone seen Cube 3? I'll check it out if someone says it's worth it. The summary sounds okay...

Don't know that one, but wanted to say Closing Time was way too overplayed. Every radio station played it just before 5pm and 9pm when the work day ended and when retail stores closed. It drove me up the wall every night I closed at Grand & Toy.

Depends on the day...on the best of weekdays, once at work, once at home. Weekends are once or twice a day. But that's only if I have the time, there are many days I don't get to come on.

Well I tried going from first to third and I got a really bad grinding noise and the engine didn't sound too healthy.

well it's not looking good so far...2-0 Carolina at 2nd intermission for those not watching, both goals were in the first period, first at 1:36 or something. The Oils just blew a 5 on 3 and they've had sooo many chances but they're too busy passing instead of shooting. I wish them luck in the 3rd, they'll need it. On Saturday's game in Edmonton, they said the players were having trouble hearing the whistle at ice level. I listened to most of it on the radio and I could barely hear the commentators.

I really thought you were going to end that with "and slide it in each other." That would've been the best insult of OTP I've seen, but alas, I was dissapointed. Sorry to bring this back up, but I thought it was worth mentioning. Back on topic... Clever but phsyically impossible. I never said simultaneously...and if I did, OTP has the right idea (from practice? who knows...)

I did that once in an automatic. I was wondering if it was like downshifting in a stick car...nope! I had the clunk clunk, no warning lights, but had to shutoff my car and restart it before it went back into gear. I was definately going faster than 40...probably about 70 or 80km/h. I also had to learn how to drive stick on my own...fyi - you can't skip a gear (go from 2 to 4)...you still have to go through the motions (2-3-4) but you don't have to lift the clutch.

I think they'll at least push it to 7 (which is all I really wanted anyways - like Calgary in '04). I think they'll win on Saturday 'cause the Edmonton fans are gonna go crazy! and it should fire up the Oilers. There's a big spat inthe Toronto Sun. One of the writer's did a full page on how the Edmonton fans are louder and better than the Carolina (and most other teams) fans. Basically saying that the fans are so loud that the opposing players on the ice can't hear each other (or the goalie) to setup. There's been a few retalitory letters from Carolina fans saying how the decibel level was 126 in Carolina and 114 in Edmonton or some crap... Watching last night, compared to the previous 2 games in Edmonton...there's no comparison...hands down Edmonton is louder. I was laughing at the start of game 3 on the radio because you couldn't hear the commentators over the fans cheering. Plus the Edmonton fans sing the anthem!

Wow someone paid $140US for the Blue Loser Anthems...I wish I had money that I could burn like that.

Anyone else here watch Champ Car? I've been watching PT's career on and off and watching the series hardcore since the 4th race of the 2003 season (that PT won the championship). I am stoked that AJ Allmendinger is now a part of Forsythe Racing and Paul Tracy's team mate. For those out of the loop...Allmendinger was let go at RuSport for "better career development of the team & AJ" and Dominguez was canned from Forsythe, mostly because he crashed Tracy in 2 of 4 races so far. Yesterday, they announced what myself and many other people have speculated all along...that PT's protege and fellow hothead Allmendinger, would join forces. I can't wait for the Portland race on Sunday @ 3:30pm on CBS.

3 Kyle FYI - That was pretty gay and I think 8:46 is a lot to ask people to watch something that boring. Were you on shrooms when you were watching this?

Not bad... Ont ime I was tossing 'promo' chunk of Oh Henry's out my window at passing cars and one of them happened to be a cop car...as I took off down a small hill I pulled into a car garage lot and parked behind a snowbank (it was winter and the bank was 5ft+ high). I look out my back window and see the cop car drive by flying through the air about 2 feet off the ground (ala Dukes of Hazzard).
