I just saw it for the first time. I'm still kinda ;) . I got really into it, I think I really liked it, but I don't think I'll know for sure until morning.
Anybody seen it? What did you think?
I loved it. I saw it first when I was 13, and just fell for it. It just worked in my head. i've tried to get my friends to watch it 3 different times, but they never make it more than 1/2 hour in.
Not for everyone--but those who like it love it.
It's a 1995 Kathryn Bigelow Neo-Noir set in LA in 1999. Ralph Fiennes (who is amazing) plays the main character, a different kind of drug dealer. I love it--highly recommended.
I simply refuse to allow myself to consider the possibility that this country will be in the muppet hands of GWB for 4 more years.
I do wish that I had TV tomorrow though, I'll just have to keep refreshing my internet page to keep up.
I seem to have a weakness for comic book movies (strange since I've never even read a comic book). Most of them aren't good films, but as a movie they tend to be great fun.
I was only in high school for about 6 months (before taking the GED) but from my expierence: Fast Times At Ridgemont High--I could pretty much watch that movie and check off the people in the yearbook(which I don't have, so I really can't, but you get the idea)
Live is the only way to see it. Midnight show, cast in front of the screen, loud audience. Watching it without those things is pointless(unless you're under the influence).
