Go rent the movie "OutFoxed: Rupert Murdocks War On Journalism" and you'll understand why MG and a lot of other people hate Fox.

I've used his songs in two of my shorts. But as they were just for school, and I'm not entering them into anything, I didn't have to get permission to use them. anyways... good luck ;) . I look forward to seeing it.

First off, I love ET--it's wonderful. I never cried when I saw it, because the first time I saw it, I was 14. The first time I saw Schindlers List I bawled all the way thru the credits. I was just completely un-fucking-done... but (in the end) in a good way.

Schindler's List is amazing--but it's just such and emotionally draining watch. I've only ever been able to watch it 3 times.

I can't wait to see it. Anything that Johnny Depp is in is always worth a look.

No, I'm not going to buy it. Occasionally, he puts out a song that I kinda-like, but it never makes me want to spend money on the album.

oh, yeah. Return of the King...I saw it 5 times in theaters and finally, on the fifth time, I managed not to cry when everyone at Minas Tirith bows down to the hobbits. damn...I never realized I cried at so many movies.

I was under the impression that you could listen to the streams if you pre-purchased the album.

I've read 12 from the list (should be more, except that I was legally blind when it came to reading until I was 14, so I'm rather behind). And seen at least 1/2 of them as movies.

Everytime I watch Lion King, I find myself urging Mufassa on--even though I know he falls.

In the US it was only on about 500 screens and still managed to be #5. Just got back from seeing it. It was v. fun. I smiled (almost) the whole time.

maybe MG was good friends with Sonny Bono, before he died skiing...... but I kinda doubt it.

Actually, I was really amazed a how well he did with very little. I had seen him before in 'Godsend' and 'Butterfly Effect' and thought he was fine in both of those, but he was very convincing in 'Birth'.

the second half of "From Dusk Till Dawn" by Robert Rodriguez written by and staring Quentin Tarantino....just watched it last week. If you ever get a chance to listen to the commentary track, you should--it's v. fun.

I was going to fly to New York (from Los Angeles) to see him play, and made the mistake of buying the cheapest (therefore non-refundable) ticket and as such am out nearly $300. *grumble*

because he canceled the bloody show. I never meant that he wasn't entitled to time off. All I know is that once you stop doing something it's hard a hell to start back up again, and the idea of living the rest of my life without any new MG music doesn't make me happy.
