I blame money for war... in the end, that's the only interest to start a war... just think of Irak's invasion: it's been JUST for oil control, for money, for the Americans to be able to make a lot of money, for Bush and his administration to keep the huge oil companies which are supporting them... money is the problem, greed and money are the problem and i TOTALLY DISAGREE with what you say Mukaman that "wars are needed to bring peace"... that's totally not true, peace is not brought by war... wars kill people, destroy whole countries and make their people just suffer wars "feed" hatred among people (just think of what is happening between Israel and Palestine)

those are from "Hedging and the angry inch" soundtrack ;) right? -
Morrissey is playing - after 19 years without having played in Spain - this Thursday in Spain... and I already have the ticket to see him!!! ;) I'm so excited about it... I have to travel all the way to the south of Spain for that Festival where he's playing, but I don't care, it's worth traveling... I've always loved The Smiths and, of course, i have never seen them live - nor Morrissey - and it's my first time seeing him live I'll tell you how it goes

I'm sorry Crusader... I don't like Avril Lavigne, either ;) and I don't like her voice either -
well, after all this time waitin anxiously for my original WLRRR copy, i called Maplemusic... and what i suspected ;) they hadn't carried out my order properly and they hadn't sent me the copy  that's why they hadn't charged it into my account and why i wasn't getting my copy... they said to me that they could carry out the order again but that would mean two more weeks waitin for the original copy... i don't know what to do... I got so mad at them... specially because I had sent them two e-mails asking for info about how my order was going on and they hadn't answered me...
-
It happens the same to me ;) no matter what band/singer I listen to, in the end I always come back for more MG and I always have one of his CDs ready to be played, either in my CD player, computer, my stereo... wherever, but one MG CD is always reacy to be played
-
I've got a question: What this "History teacher" is exactly? Is it a B-sides/rareties compilation? Is there any kind of CD cover for that? I downloaded it from the Hub but I don't exactly know when it was published or what it really means
-
hey, dont get mad at anybody... everybody can freely express his/her opinion here... hope nobody feels insulted or something like that ;) both possibilities would be acceptable, why not? if MG actually said what the song meant to him and why he wrote it, maybe we should trust that opinion... and if not? there are other alternatives, right?
-
hahaha... could be ;)
-
wow ;) u met him, jeffrey? lucky you are... and what did he tell u? what did u talk about (if I may ask)?
-
actually I think that the lyrics in WLRRR are in general really really good and very well worked... and I'm using then as a translation practice to improve my English and they even sound great in Spanish ;)
-
I'm also a devoter, an international devoter ;) not as early as when u started to listen to them (I first heard of him with Beautiful midnight), but since then I haven't stopped listening to him and waitin anxiously for his albums...
-
yes, it's not only that some of his songs/albums are underrated... I also agree on the fact that Matt, as a singer, is also underrated... if people who don't even know how to sing (Britney Spears, for example) become famous worldwide, why can't Matt? guess it is a question of money and marketing...
-
I've always thought that this song was about a relationship that finished really bad, a very "turbulent" one
-
I started to watch it on Matt's webpage but it took soooo long to load the video with this quicktime program that I didnt finish watching it...
-
yeah, i dont do it either, they just bomb u all the time with the same songs and in some cases u end up "hating" some songs...
-
his grandma... or someone very close to him, he's giving like a "how things are lately around here" summary, right?

I don't agree with u, Kumquat, there may be some female singers who use sex to sell their "music" (if u may call "music" what they do...) but they are the fake musicians kinda Britney, Madonna and that kind... but real female singers, who live of their music (P.J. Harvey, Björk, The Cranberries, Garbage, Tanya Donelly...), fortunately exist and they dont need to use sex to show that they are GREAT singers... -

Kumquat already got it ;) it is ur turn now, post some more lyrics... -
sometimes you get "tired of" the singles because they are played over and over on radio stations and in the end you have heard only one song from a band, but around 20 times...
-
thank the guy who gave it to u, then ;)
-
yeah, buddy... i calculated the price and its almost like paying for a second t-shirt... but, again, there's no other way i can get one! ;) and thanx for the warning, i appreciate it
-
yeah, it would be great he gave an answer to that one... and yes, i completely agree with you: that's why music is great, that's why lyrics are like poetry, because they produce different thoughts, different feelings, different attitudes, different moods... as different as people are in the world ;)
-
I presuppose it is more likely that he's talking about a dear dead person (I guess) and not a flight attendant, no?
-
I know, I know... but tell me how i'm gonna do it then, if i live in Spain... there's no other way i can get a t-shirt unless i purchase it thru the internet and they ship it overseas...
