changing some songs' likes happens to me, but no matter how many other songs i hear and how many other CDs i hear, I always have the same favorite ones: "The rat who would be king" as my favorite song and "Audio of being" as my favorite CD... of course I can't assure that this will never change... who knows!! ;) right? but this are my likes so far...

I agree with you... I've never experienced such a thing but guessing what a great guy Matt must be, I'm sure he would feel weird having so many people around who know him and he doesnt know us... i'm just thinking of myself if i was in the same situation... i would feel very weird experiencing that being the kind of person I am ;)

i don't know him either... it is just my guess ;) I think he wouldn't get very mad at fans because of that, maybe at the moment, but not later...

yes, 11/9 would've probably happened but the answer maybe would've been different... there wouldn't have been an illegal invasion in Irak, for example, or the terrorist campaign (an excuse Bush used in order to invade Irak) would've been different... in my case, i'm sure that with a Democrat in the US power, the reaction to 9/11 wouldn't have provoked 3/11 in Madrid, for example...

I don't think so either... he's a nice person - that's the impression I have, i dont know him personally - and I guess he'll forget it soon and won't influence in his relationship with fans (i'm just guessing...)

I wouldnt know what to choose... I dont live in Canada (or the States) even to know how many people may know Matt there... I can tell u that probably I'm the only one (maybe one more? 2 more? I'd like to find that person/those people not to feel so "isolated"!! ;) ) who knows Matt in Spain... never heard in my entire life anybody talking about Matt in my country or even admitting that he/she knows him... sad but true...

In Spain we do not have those dramatic cases either... I suppose it is some sorta the "gun culture" which is installed in the American society (something that M. Moore tried to denounce in Bowling for Columbine and that I think Matt tries to denounce in the Alert status red video)

I just said the "craziest" things I've done for Matt - or I'd do for Matt - I'm not in Canada to spend a whole day waitin for him outside somewhere, or after a concert trying to approach him and get to know him... in my possibilities, what i said is the craziest things I've done so far ;)

I'd probably think that he's happy now: two albums after that period - very good albums -, a family with his wife, his success, the feeling that we fans love him and love his music... i guess it is a lot of possitive feedback, enough for him to feel happier, dont you think so?

it must be beautiful - and crazy at the same time - to have some of your time devoted to the forum, to create it, to work on it, to know that you are letting people express his/her opinions on MG and for us to show our "fanatism" for Matt ;)

that's the good thing: both albums are so diferent that we may have a great variety of songs: either the orchestral ones in Avalanche or the rockier ones in WLRRR... that's the good thing of a good band ;) being able to create such great songs in different times and in different albums... i love them, i love both albums, i love the different songs, i love the variety, i love the different feelings each song in each of the albums provokes in me...

I live in Spain and if i had the possibility - and the money, of course -, i would fly all the way to Canada to see Matt live and be able to talk to him... maybe it sounds a bit stupid but i've done whatever possible all these years - and it's been hard, i can tell you - in order to get all his music with all the problems and impossibility of getting his music in Spain

of course, that's something natural, everybody does ;)

I'd go with WLRRR although I like Avalache too, specially the intimate moments you can get with the song Avalanche or the strengh of Near Fantastica, A long way down...

Although "the rat who would be king" is my fav song ever, "Prime time deliverance" sends shivers down my spine...
