yes, george is teaching the kids to fight... thats exactly what he did in Irak: send his kids all over there to fight for his madness...

rammstein? :angry: well, it would sound pretty different ("Du hast" for example) and I dont think he would have many problems with German, Rammstein's lyrics are not very full of words and are very repetitive! Ich habe Deutsch studiert ;) and wow!! yes!!! Coldplay, i hadn't thought about it!!! but its true, it would be awesome...

I'm sure that in any case Matt would be banned in American radio stations and TV shows by Bush administration and his "fanatics"... just remember what happened to that hip hop Texan band which was banned in radio stations just because the sang songs against Bush... it happened the same in Spain with the previous conservative party - that supported Irak's invasion and Bush in his illegal war - with a flamenco-hip hop band who got pretty famous with a song called "No a la guerra" (No to war) and the government banned them to play in the national Spanish television (under their control, of course)... fortunately now we have a socialist party in the government and that's not gonna ever happen again... I'm sure Matt would've been banned on TV or pro-government radio stations when the convervative party was ruling my country

ok, so after some days having listened to the album non-stop - i haven't heard anything else in more than a week ;) - now I can vote in the poll and say that it is exactly how i expected it to be... it is givin me the same feelings that all previous albums have given me all these years

well, I guess Matt is hated in the US because he tells the truth, because he talks about how unfair and illegal Irak's invasion was, because he says ALL the bad and terrible things Bush and his administration are doing to the US AND to all of us in the world, because he condemns all these unfair acts against humanity, because he condemns human rights' violation... ... and I cannot agree with him more than what i do because i've got the same opinion, because I also hate Bush and his administration and all his unfair acts against humanity... and it has been pretty obvious in Spain lately, where we have taken the streets in huge demonstrations against Irak's invasion, because we have cried against wars and illegal and economical wars, because with our votes we have beaten our ex-president Aznar (who supported Bush in Irak's invasion) in the last elections in Spain after suffering a similar Al Qaeda attack in Madrid (11-M) because of our crazy president's support to Bush and to the war... I myself and many Spaniards would be hated by Americans because we share Matt's opinions and concerns and would be "prosecuted" by the CIA or by the American security forces... I don't hate Americans, I hate Bush and his policies, I hate American patriotism, I hate American "saviors-of-the-world" idea... I simply hate that and if all this doesn't seem enough, just reading one of Matt's blogs on his webpage: 120 billion dollars, 11,000 innocent Iraqi lives, 830+ US dead, 4000+ US wounded, 100+ coalition dead, 0 WMD’s, and after all of it the 9/11 inquiry rules out any possible link between Saddam Hussein’s Iraq and 9/11. ... and Bush and his supporters still hanging around juanpe

i agree completely... for some other bands or singers, probably music is their only concern and they don't worry so much about the words... for others it is the other way around, they are more interested in the lyrics and the music is not good... but in the case of Matt, both the music BUT specially the lyrics of his songs are the main concern... and i just love it ;)

hahaha... probably rap wouldnt be a good idea ;) but classical music? with his voice it would sound great to have a classical music song sung by Matt...

of course my question would be: "when are you touring in Europe?" ;)

i can tell you that you may find A LOT of stuff at the hub... I have downloaded many Matt's concerts from there (and B-sides, and rareties, and remixes...)... people at the Hub are very generous and have good quality materials ;) try that

well, i dont see the point of finding similarities between songs (and i dont see why this should be something negative)... all songs from the same band always have a link among them... that's why they make themselves unique for a band... anytime you listen to any band you find something typical of that band, something which is like the characteristic that identifies that band... it happens with all singers and bands and that's the good thing about someone's music, something must be common between songs (kind of lyrics, some tunes, etc.) because if not it would be as if different people were composing songs for a band, let's say in this case, called Matthew Good... (sorry, i think i got a bit messed up and didnt explain myself clearly...)

we're so heavy, for me... although little terror and buffalo seven are very very close to top number 1 ;)

i like it a lot too, very much in the line of the other rocky songs... but i don't like it as much as the other ones ;) my four-song ranking goes as follows: 1. we're so heavy 2. little terror 3. buffalo seven 4. blue skies...

the thing is that the whole album sounds very rock-like and suddenly u find two songs which are very countryish... they don't fit there very much...
