  1. Ah, I went to the hub, and it all worked beautifully. *Goes back to listening to "Heather's Like Sunday" on a loop*
  2. Heh, I've already downloaded Annabelle. Awesome idea for a perk for forum posting ;) Sigh. I really miss my live album though. And I've been wanting to hear Heather's Like a Sunday and As Long As Your Mine for a very, very long time now.
  3. Well I've been searching for the demos and pre-MGB songs for the last few years with very little luck. And then yesterday, I broke the CD I'd made in 2000 of all the live songs I'd found to that point. 18 live MGB cuts, gone! AHHH! Can someone help me, please?
  4. I liked WLR&RR waaaaaaaay more than I thought I would. I mean I *cough*didn'tlikeavalancheverymuchapartfromafewsongs*cough*, and after that MG(with or without the B ) got demoted from my Number One Favorite Artist to being merely in the Top 5. But the new CD brought all the love back! I even really fucking love the country tinges, which a lot of people seem to dislike. It's catchy, thought provoking, and emotional. And I must say, it in WLR&RR, Matt's song stylings are really reminding me of one of my other favorite artists: Ryan (NOT BRYAN) Adams, the alt-country singer/songwriter. Esp. Empty Road, It's Been Awhile Since I was Your Man, Blue Skies Over Band Lands, and Hopeless.
  5. Ok, I am of the unlucky who have never heard the pre-MGB stuf (ARGH! AH! I've been trying to track it down for years!), but I'll list 2 favorite songs from each album, because I'm indecisive like that. LOTGA: Fearless and Haven't Slept in Years Underdogs: The Inescapable Us and Change of Season Beautiful Midnight: Ah, so hard. Jenni's Song and Suburbia AOB: The Rat Who Would Be King and Under the Influence Avalance: Bright End of Nowhere and Song for the Girl And I really love all of Loser Anthems. Seriously. Even My Life as a Circus Clown, a song which I have never met a person who liked it.
  6. In my first post, I am going to venture an unpopular opinion: Hopeless is my favorite song of the new album. Don't know why, I just love it. Despite the fact that it's kind of a bummer, it makes me smile. And Matt sounds suprisingly great at country music
