Hope of the States - Lost riots -
Hope this is the feeling of most Americans and Bush doesnt win... http://www.matthewgood.org/web/mblog/index.php From The Outside Looking In “If he wins again I’m leaving the country.” In the last five months I have heard the above statement come out of the mouths of complete strangers on no less than six occasions. While walking my dogs I often end up talking to a variety of people at a nearby park, many of who are American tourists. And not some - but all that I have spoken to have let escape those seven words. If, in November, the people of the United States re-elect George Bush they will be sending a clear message to the world, one of unapologetic unilateralism. It has become almost futile to try and detail the deceits and ulterior motives of the “war on terror”, a subject which Bush supporters view as having no room for the most American of qualities - dissent. If the voting majority of Americans end up supporting George Bush in November, the rest of the world will know where the United States and its people stand. That is to say, apart.

The Matrix Sountrack (the first part... amazing ;) ) -
there is no solution on this issue until the US stops supporting Sharon and his actions... and this doesnt seem to ever happen... Israel is the best ally the US has in the area to control the oil and the power there

Republican Convention uses 9/11 for political gain
juanpe replied to Moonlight_Graham's topic in Politics and Debate: WRONG!
they use the dead in 9/11 to win the elections... so sad, full of hipocresy... and they use the "supposed" democracies in Afghanistan and Irak in their tv commercials!!! How can they dare to do this? They have invaded and destroyed those two countries (among many others they have in their history) for oil and money reasons and they use them JUST to win the elections... how can they be such despicable people!!!! I HATE THEM -
Lauren, dont edit/delete what you wrote ;) that's the way it should be: killing Bush (in a metaphoric way, of course) is the goal!

Why i'm PO'd with "White Light R&R Review" CD...
juanpe replied to Moonlight_Graham's topic in Matthew Good
don't think the point that lyrics are in a CD cover incentives people to buy a CD, especially if MG posts the lyrics in his web site... -
yeah, exactly, what does it say? i can't understand a single word there...
-
guess it is a different CD case release but with the same content... many bands do that for marketing reasons
-
history repeats again... as they did some years ago supporting militias in South America to ovethrow legitimate democratic regimes which didnt follow the Americans' point of view... sad but true...

Making nonsense from the constitution
juanpe replied to HoboFactory's topic in Politics and Debate: WRONG!
they could, anton, of course they could... they pass these laws against privacy as easy as they invade a country like Irak just for oil and money... the Bush administration can do whatever illegal action they want because they have - unfortunately - the power... and the power rules, kills, controls... -
yes, terrorism is not the answer...while Israeli fight with tanks and weapons - provided by the US government - Palestinians fight with sticks and stones... when will this stop? when will the interntional comunity ban the terrorist and nazi Sharon? when will the international comunity ban the US government for supporting Sharon, his government and all his nazi actions?

Last night I dreamed that somebody loved me - The Smiths -
I would like it to be on the same line as this one: more guitar tunes in the songs, not as melodic as Avalanche was

Rammstein
juanpe replied to HoboFactory's topic in Music In General: David Bowie Appreciation Station
yeah, that's true but if you use E-mule to download music, look for Rammstein's concerts... there are a lot, complete concerts from their last tour and i'm sure there will be some in a while when they start touring for the new album... i'm gonna go see them when they come to Madrid, i'll tell you how the new stuff sounds ;) -
Last Albums you bought
juanpe replied to spiritofeden's topic in Music In General: David Bowie Appreciation Station
actually, the new album is very similar to the "old sounds", specially Pornography (my favorite album ever), obviously there is an improvement, but they keep that old dark sound they had in songs like "strange days", "siamese dreams" from the album Pornography... (ooops, offtopic... sorry, guys ;) ) -
exactly, more socially concerned than most of the capitalist countries... hope that with the new socialist government in Spain, solved issues are more oriented to social problems, like euthanasia for example
-
yes, they do it in some Scandinavian countries... they are also planning to discuse and try to pass a law in the spanish parliament regarding this... see what happens!
