Today in New York City, 500,000 people marched in solidarity with the rest of the world, denouncing policies of the U.S. government from every possible angle. After a 6-hour long march, protesters did not just pack up their signs and go home. Various autonomous contingents sprawled out across the city, doing everything from a "kick the heads of state" soccer game in Central Park, to jail solidarity demonstrations for those arrested, to a relentless verbal assault campaign on Republican delegates trying to hide out in Broadway theaters. I could NEVER support a war... actually in Spain we were told the same lies Bush told americans and population never believed or supported the war (95% of the spanish population was against the war)... it is only a question of being a military culture or not: the american culture seems to be VERY military and others - for example, Spain - are not a war CAN NEVER be justified, for no reasons... just because that implies that a lot of innocent people are gonna die for sure... diplomacy should rule international policy, it is the most powerful "weapon"... but never an invasion, never starting a war... that cannot solve problems (just my humble opinion...)

yes, it is sad to hear that... I'm looking at the news all the time to see if there is any news about it... gosh, there are around 150 children inside ;) international terrorism frightens me... and Putin doesnt seem to know what to do... now it's about time to remember Bush's words when he justified that the US had to invade Irak so that international terrorism would finish... and see how things not only haven't changed but have gotten worse (attacks in Russia, the Middle East attacks and bombings everyday, the dramatic situation in Irak...) sometimes I feel ashamed of belonging to the human race... Pavel, I feel sympathy for you and for your country in these hard moments

that is another of the lies they try to tell us, it doesnt really give more power to minorities because Hispanics, for example, normally vote Democrats
