Vomiting isn't as bad as you think.

The iPod earphones are absolute shit. I wouldn't use them outside of my house if you paid me to. Right now, I only use them when I'm wearing them to sleep (music helps me go to sleep) and they're more comfortable to wear lying down than any other pair I have.

Conservatives On Brink Of Majority, Polls Say

What? The best you can do to counter me is use facts? I want more hearsay on the matter. -

I like that. i don't have a problem with jail prisoners voting, but those in prisons are serious offenders. Personally, i wish we had the death penalty, and this may sound odd coming from a vegan, but someone who does terrible things, (say Paul Bernardo,) and is in prison for life might as well be executed. If no one contests his guilt, why not? Spend the hundreds of thousands of dollars on people who need it, like lepors. It actually costs less to imprison a man for life than it does to execute him.

I think it means you need to find better things to dream about. P.S. Moonlight - don't ask me how the liberals could be in power for 12 years and still have a considerable amount of Mulroney appointees on the Supreme Court bench, but that's what I remember reading. And besides that, when was the last time you remember hearing about a new supreme court justice being installed? It's hardly publicized. -
I don't care what you guys say, the pair that I had were comfortable and stuck in your ears and blocked out all the sound so it sounded pretty decent and they won't make you go deaf anymore than over-the-ear headphones will as long as they're at the same volume level. In fact, since those things can block out sound rather effectively, they actually protect your ears from being exposed to very loud sound (such as the kind that comes from sitting toward the back of a city bus). Anyways, it looks like I might buy a pair of large over-the-ear Sony headphones. A buddy of mine strongly recommended his pair to me.

It depends. How flexible are you?
-
1) Because I asked you nicely, 2) Because we both have nothing better to do 3) Having friends is nice. I felt dirty writing that. Will you do my homework and write my tests?
-
I used to think like that, but now I'm largely indifferent. Ear buds (or jacks, I assume they're the same thing) really don't hurt my ears anymore or fall out. It's probably because my ears have remolded to fit around them perfectly. Is that healthy?
-
Probably. Why won't you be my friend?
-
Duh. Will you be my friend?

I wouldn't disagree with you on that at all. It's never a good thing for a party to be in power for so long that it has all the "balances of power" (i.e. the supreme court, senate, etc) in their favour. I think another full term for the Liberals would have brought us dangerously close. The Senate is stacked in the Liberal's favour (although it is basically a castrated shell of a legislated body), but the Supreme Court is (to my knowledge) still populated by Mulroney picks. Which is a bit suprising considering their ruling on same sex marriage. -
No problem about the NF's. I have enough as it is.
-
The 50 NFs were worth it anyways.
-
Holy shit... that is absolutely fucking hilarious. I give you NF's for your story, even if guitarchick won't.

I could handle a conservative minority. But a majority? Holy fucking shit. Yet more proof we need to reform the goddamned electoral system so that the big 2 parties (and, to a considerable extend, the Bloc) can't take advantage of the first past ths post system, while the political minorities in this country have zero representation. FYI: The only conservative who really stands a chance in Toronto is Peter Kent. And that's probably because he's more socially liberal than a lot of Toronto Liberal MP's (most of the MP's from my area voted against gay marriage, for example, in one of the most liberal-minded areas of the country). -
I didn't say it was the sole reason the record didn't sell, but you have to admit it's pretty retarded.
-
You can also look both ways before you cross the street, if you haven't heard of common sense.
-
I thought the line went "love is like an airplane, it'll crash before long." That's how I heard it, at any rate.
-
The fact that BM was released with one of those retarded parental advisory labels didn't help much. Nor did "Born to ----". I mean, really, what the hell do you assume when you read something like that? Because it sure as hell isn't "Born to Knit" or "Born to Pet Kitties." We all know what people assume when they see those four blocked out letters.

Liberals In = Quebec & Alberta Out?
ecnarf replied to Moonlight_Graham's topic in Politics and Debate: WRONG!
Provided Stephen Harper doesn't have a majority consisting of Reverend Homer Phobics as MP's, he's not getting very far. And if he has a minority, then nothing you've said applies. The Conservatives are the only party that can be considered right-of-centre on social issues. The NDP, Bloc, majority of Liberals and even some Conservative MP's would vote to defeat the government if Harper tried to pull something funny like illegalizing abortion, banning same sex marriage, joining the war in Iraq, bring in two-tiered health care, or what have you. -
FYI, the picture of earbuds that were posted don't depict mine. Mine fit right in the ear canal, so they block out sound and give far better sound quality and comfort than typical over-the-ear ear buds. Other than that, eh. I've got a customer service plan thing, so I'll take it back into Future Shop tomorrow and try to find a decent pair of headphones in the future. I still like earbuds because they're nice and subtle, and way more portable than earphones (carrying them around in my pocket is a must). I think the problem stemmed from that goddamned plastic tab that holds the wires together where they diverge into the left and right buds. It was always conveniently located right at the collar of my jacket and kept on being tugged by me walking or what have you. P.S. Meg - mine shock me when I wear mine inside my jacket. Ouch.

Okay, everybody. I'm sitting here listening to music on my relatively new in-the-ear JVC earbuds. And for some reason now, the left earbud decided it's tired and doesn't want to play anymore. Moral of the story: spending 10 bucks on a warranty is always a good idea. Now, to go find the receipt (hoping to god I still have it)
