  1. Do I now claim my superiority over 90% of the Bored who aren't cool enough to get a conditional acceptance to York University? I'm still waiting for Western to answer.
  2. It's funny because although you're trying to play coy, you're really just showing your insecurity with your manhood.
  3. I should mention that I initially read the topic of this thread as "Women's Hockey Shower". I was bitterly disappointed.
  4. Thank you, Squiddy.
  5. That giant space mirror sounds freakishly like the plot of a James Bond movie.
  6. To clear up from my previous post, this is how my freakin' day went: Dear Mr. [ecnarf], York University is pleased to offer you admission (see conditions of offer). Congratulations on this important achievement in your life!
  7. Not long ago there was a place called the USSR, they were much better owners of the sport in question. That's because the Olympics wouldn't allow "professional" players, but the CCCP army guys were more "professional" hockey players than our NHL guys were. Fucking pinkos.
  8. I'd replace "Sick" with "Annoyed" then you have my weekend... ugh I hate women somedays... Replace "somedays" with nothing at all and you'd have weekend. I've come to realize a few things lately: -I don't really like people -People don't really like me I gave up my spot on the overnight band trip to Ottawa to the grade 11 sax player. I haven't been given a good reason to go, and more than a few hints that nobody gives a shit whether or not I come along. In truth, they really don't, except when they find out that it is not me who will be coming along on the trip, but someone else and then act surprised that someone would consider not going out of their own free will. Worse things could happen, I guess. I never would have enjoyed the trip nearly as much as the other girl will, and I don't want to miss four days of calculus to sit around and watch everyone else enjoy themselves. Also, is it just me, or does a girl that is both intelligent and capable of carrying on a conversation seem non-existent? Because there's a few of the former, a lot of the latter, but nobody that's both. What a downer.
  9. Correction: You like trucks because you have a small penis. And need something to transport the bodies around. I have a solution to stop global warming in its tracks: keep men from owning cars with engines with more cylinders than their penis size in inches, and keep women from driving cars with engines with more cylinders than their height in feet. The latter would cut down on those women that can't be more than five feet tall sitting behind the wheel of their fucking Suburban while they're unable to see over the top of the dashboard.
  10. It all depends, really. First of all, the type of spice. There are different kinds of spice. There's the wasabi hot flavour, and there's the kind from hot peppers, chili peppers, you know. I will never learn to like wasabi. Hot peppers (provided it's not so strong), I can deal with, especially since my dad seems to like using them in pasta. Chili peppers don't bother me. Nor hot sauce. It's all in how you're raised, as well. I come from an Italian background, so I'm not entirely unused to spice. I have my limits, though.
  11. My brother's gonna become a cop. I'm looking forward to getting out of speeding tickets, parking tickets, and arrest warrants for triple homicide.
  12. True. I also think that the Simpsons has led to a lot of nuclear fear. A lot needs to be invested in renewable energy sources. Get people to start putting solar panels on their rooves, and you have a great way to reduce the strain on the electricity grid. More wind farms! And so forth. Those are obviously not as reliable as nuclear power, but it's not as though anyone will be hurt by the use of solar and wind power. One of the main ways serious energy requirements can be met though solar power is through the mass placement of solar panels on roofs in urban/suburban areas. It wouldn't hurt to advertise the fact tax credits and saving on your energy bill are in store if you choose to install one on your roof. Obviously they're not cheap to install, but the price of the technology is coming down. And hey, the government could always pay people a certain amount for the priveledge of letting their homes become part of a massive solar energy farm. It could work.
  13. I'll take you all on the squash court. That's why we need gyms. Squash courts. Unless you've got one of those built in your house. In that case, we need to be friends.
  14. I want my free ipod, without having to answer dimunitively simple questions.
  15. Like alcohol and wearing suits.
  16. Pussy. Until you've had to constantly deal with those pain in the ass consent to take iodide pill forms every single school year, you don't know how great it is living within fallout distance of a nuclear facility. And no, it's not a target for terrorists. Since when did they become the overseers of our urban planning? If nuclear power stations were targets for terrorists, why wasn't one hit on Sept. 11th? It's not as though it couldn't be done.
  17. Pilot. The CRV is much smaller than the MDX/Pilot, which are both built on the same platform. Fact: I once had to take a short ride in a CRV. Never again. Those things are awful.
  18. I fucking hate American snowboarders.
  19. Let me get this straight... Bertuzzi sucker-punches Moore from behind (and jesus christ I'll never be able to stick my head so far up my ass as to understand the justification for that act) and Moore suing him back for wages lost somehow isn't fair?
  20. That's beside the point. Assholes are for drug smuggling, instruments are for playing. They rarely cross international borders.
  21. Okay, so the hood line looks a bit awkward, but other than that, I think it's quite well-designed. The rear fascia is the taker.
  22. Harsichord is MORE kickass! The sub contra tuba kicks even more ass! Size doesn't matter. I tell this to people who play larger instruments than me on a daily basis. I've found that as instrument size increases, talent decreases.
  23. I gathered proof that women are lying whores today. I don't think I'll ever be trusting anyone again. Oh, also, I really like that new Chevy ad. "Oooh ooh ooh ooh ooh ooh! Oooh ooh ooh ooh ooh ooh!"
  24. Then my memory is more faulty than a 1993 Hyundai. The 450 bhp engine is the one I was thinking of. I had thought I read somewhere in a Porsche ad that the things are powered by a hand-crafted four-cylinder blown engine. I really do remember that. I saw a Cayenne today at school. Very rich neighbourhood, don't you know. I then evaluated if it was a proper SUV or a station wagon as Satty suggested. It's more of a low-slung SUV than a station wagon, which is probably done to keep people away from, say, the BMW X5, which is a hell of a lot stockier. My opinion: Infiniti FX45 way before a Cayenne. The sound that comes out of those things is fucking unreal.
  25. See, a good cook knows when to ignore the directions.
