I still want to make a fried egg, though, but am not hungry. Damn.
-
When I woke up this morning, I really wanted to make a fried egg. Then I ended up having a bagel with cream cheese on it. What is wrong with me? Oh, and I got up at about 12:15. Sad.

I hope you guys realize that just buying regular food (i.e. bag of pasta and a jar of sauce) is way cheaper than KD or microwaveable dinners.
-
Caker! Really, guys, you need to taste what good food is. Then you will rue the day you ever touched any KD.

You didn't ask a question, so Shiri should go to Florence. Seriously. Don't you hate it when people forget to hold up their end of a bargain?
-
Especially when you're in your car.

BustedTees is selling a shirt that says "Tom is not my friend". Who is Tom, anyways? the MySpace founder or something?

Question: Is it drinking alone when you're having a conversation with the voices in your head?
-
What's wrong with drinking by yourself? I can understand getting piss drunk by yourself... but having a beer or two isn't really "drinking". I blame the North American allergy to (and obsession with) alcohol.

I refuse to believe that there are people out there that actually like kraft dinner. I refuse.

For example, it's easier for a pretty girl to open a man's wallet than it is for a camel to pass through the eye of a needle. Or something like that.

You. ;) What taste is in your mouth?

On the other hand, they have instant access to a pair of boobs. We don't.

I'm sure 24 and Lost are overrated. Apparently, people waste their lives coming up with insanely complex theories explaining how the show ends. Get lives, people! Or at least pretend to have one.

I hate to break it to you, but baby is a gold digger. Michelle, on the other hand? Not so much.

It's a plane, get in and fly it. It's a nuclear warhead, aim and push the button. It's a space shuttle, get in and launch. You get the idea.
-
It's a car, just get in and drive it.

But when you think about it, North America is almost the same way. Except we've always had states or provinces instead of individual countries which slowly amalgamated. In North America, because of the sheer size of the place and the way that natural resources/business centres are spread out, it's economically important that there are a few large countries instead of dozens of smaller ones. Imagine if every state in the U.S./province in Canada were to become their own independent countries responsible for trade? All the wealth would become concentrated in NY, LA, Alberta, possibly Toronto (because it's the economic engine of the region), while all the rural areas would slide into poverty. That's geopolitics for you. -
We won't get Luongo because Tellqvist is proving himself to be starter material, so we won't need to get a high-profile goalie. Secondly, we won't get Luongo because Tellqvist will leave either next season or the season after. We suck too much to keep a first-rate goalie around for too long. We first need a team that can win a stanley cup, then a goaltender that can win one. However, pigs will fly before Toronto puts together a quality team.

That's just the fluorescent lights.

Actually, neither have I. It was entirely hearsay someone once told me in conversation and I was stupid enough to repeat it.
-
Never! Do you like pudding?
-
Thank you, Dan. Oh, that reminds me. A long time ago I got a myspace account because a friend of mine really wanted me to look at their profile, and I needed an account to look at it. I signed in for time in months yesterday, and looked at my profile. Then I saw that I had a friend with the same picture as your avatar, and I thought, "How the hell did Dan get my MySpace account?".

The problem with Wal-Mart is that they're socially irresponsible. Move into community, put prices lower than mom and pop stores will, wait 'till they go out of business, bring prices back up. That, and Wal-Mart is simply the poster child for everything North American. I don't buy anything from there. EDIT: They've also been recently pressured to sell the Plan B pill in the U.S. Before that, they would refuse to sell it for fear of massive boycotts. There's something just not right with a corporation moving into a town, gaining a monopoly on the pharmaceutical business, and then refusing to sell products that were previously available. Products that are a necessity for victims of sexual assault, for example.
