I didn't hear the demo of Silent Army, but the acoustic version is so good that it'd be a shame if it weren't recorded at some point. That's how I feel about it, anyway.

What about a Rooms 2? Maybe integrate a couple of new songs along with some of the acoustic stuff he didn't include on the first one. Like Pledge of Allegiance, Suburbia, In A World Called Catastrophe, 99%, Silent Army, Long Way Down, etc.

Welp, gonna have to wait a while. All I know is if he ends up streaming finished tracks before the album comes out again, or if he streams the album before I can buy the CD, I'm not gonna listen to em. I want to have the experience of having it come in the mail and popping it in to hear it for the first time then. I realize now that would have made Hospital Music 10x more awesome.

I kinda hope it's not TOO long. I like long songs as much as the next guy, and I like long albums too (think Dream Theater and Smashing Pumpkins), but thinking about how much I like shorter 10 song albums like Viva La Vida and In Rainbows I've kinda found an appreciation for that kind of presentation. But whatever, I love Hospital Music and that's fairly long so I'll probably like this new album no matter how long it is. I hope there are some differences coming in the studio versions from what we heard in the demos. Clearly some of the tracks appear set to be longer than their demos.

I'm not so sure I'll be able to come to this show even though I really really want to. Ugh. I'll do my best, but I'll just have to wait and see.

Has Girl in the War been acoustic or full band?

Bought the album yesterday. Certainly different. Some great songs and a couple that I didn't like so much. Solid effort, but Parachutes will always be my favorite Coldplay album.

Finally saw the site. Simple and to the point. Nice.

I'm going to try and convince my friend to drive up to that show with me. Naturally I will be the first one in the parking lot at 1pm again ;)

I dunno, I always got ultra happy whenever I heard Smashing Pumpkins' cover of Landslide on the radio.

I like Violet Hill a lot. I haven't listened to the album yet as I want it to be a surprise. I'm really looking forward to its release. I did also listen to an acoustic version of the song "Lovers in Japan" and I think it's great.

I recorded my cover of Prime Time Deliverance on the piano today. It still needs some editing. I won't get to finish it til maybe Friday, but I'll upload it when it's done and see what you guys think. Shit, this was the first thing I've recorded since December.

I was looking to see if it'd be possible for me to go to any of the remaining shows on the tour. I looked into Hamilton but it'd cost me like, $1100 to fly there. Yeesh.
