Every time I think about how I met Matt after the Buffalo show last October I kick myself for not thinking of bringing Hospital Music for him to sign.

It looks like they sectioned off the corner of a basement for him.

I might have to make the trek up to Canada to see one of these shows.

I just hope it doesn't somehow leave a bad taste in his mouth when he gets home after it's over. I think we'd all love and another U.S. tour at some point in the future.

Oof. That's weird. Well he probably won't play in that place again! As for his demeanor I guess I can't comment on what happened at the show, but I would say that you shouldn't let it turn you off from going to future shows acoustic or band. For me nothing will ever beat the Buffalo show, I don't think, and he was fucking ON that night and was great with the crowd. The next time you get an opportunity to see Matt, just go and you'll be happy you did. *Edit* I believe Matt came on at 10pm and the show was over around 11:30pm. That's probably the average length of these U.S. dates he's been playing. Last years shows were longer, but that was more of an official tour than this one.

That show is an exception. He was clearly offended by that woman as anyone probably would be. The NY show had technical issues too, but he was a good sport about it and turned it into interesting stories. The two times I've seen Matt I've had a great time and he was very good working the crowd and balancing his anecdotes with the music and it was all awesome. I don't see why someone would have an issue with him talking. It's like an evening with Matt Good. That's what the solo shows are for...to make use of the intimate setting and give the fans a memorable total package. What was the setlist anyway?

He needs to figure out a way to play Fearless.

Yes I know. There's drunken singing in the Tripoli video I have too, but I don't really care. If people that went to that show want to relive the experience a little and or just remember what they heard, then the videos will fulfill their purpose. ;) I got some better videos from the Buffalo show I went to. Heeey Michelle! It was great to meet you too. Hopefully I'll see you at some shows in the future. Have fun in Philly tonight. Yeah Tripoli was incredible. I was really really hoping for a surprise like that and was so pumped for it when I heard the first line sung. I'll work on some of the pics and videos I took later on tonight.

Well here is the setlist from last night in New York: I

Tripoli was a fucking amazing surprise for me. I was so happy. I got a nice video of it. I didn't get as many videos as I wanted, but I got the songs I set out to get - I'm A Window, Tripoli, Silent Army in the Trees, and Load Me Up. Got some short clips of other songs too. We were all kind of frustrated because there were some technical issues that did not allow Matt to finish Suburbia an interrupted at least one other song, but Matt was a good sport and it made for some funny commentary. Overall a nice evening and I can't wait to see Matt again in the future. Tripoli!!!!!

I'm leaving work in about 2 hours to meet my friend downtown so we can make our way to the venue! I'm hoping to get a spot right up by the stage and hopefully get a couple of good videos. I definitely want to get Silent Army in the Trees and probably I'm A Window. And if possible, Pledge of Allegiance or Apparitions. I'm hoping for a good surprise song at some point tonight. Can't wait!

I am so pumped for this New York show tomorrow night. I am praying that Matt Good doesn't wake up in the morning and start puking his brains out. BE WELL MATT.
