Are there old reviews on this site about it? Didn't see any when I searched but could have missed it.

So you will be on the card in Buffalo foats? Or your just attending? If I go I was gonna find you.

Heading up to Toronto shortly to see GNR tonight with a buddy who scored tix last minute for I guess a decent price, different story, but anyway, this is the same friend who went with me to Edgefest in 2000. We were pretty young and we didn't really get too far in the mix of the crowd but got to hear MGB live for the first time. And we were talking about this last night and I thought I'd ask if anyone had any memories of those Edgefest concerts? Was it 98, 99 and then 2000 they played there? Anyone have any cool stories or just a review from one of those years?

Haha, understood, just an idea. But yeah, I enjoyed Season 1. Really thought it was good. I don't watch that much TV but I will at some point sit down and watch all of season 2. The guys I work with who I would consider huge critics on just about everything related to Marvel and DC, don't seem to have much bad to say about season 2 either. So if it meets their standards, i think it will reach mine lol.

Haven't heard one bad thing about this series from anyone, including a lot of the comic's guys. Gonna binge watch season 2 when I can. If your feeling up to it, check up some of the graphic novels out there from Daredevil. I think you would enjoy if you liked the movie and the show.

Oh cool, so are you on the Buffalo card or your saying you will be attending? I think that has something to do with there only being 1 big wrestling promotion of the WWF starting in 2001. Competition is good.

I seen an ad for Ring of Honor, they are coming here to Buffalo in September. I just did some research and I didn't realize a lot of WWE guys came from there. I might give it a go, tickets look cheap and its a Saturday night. I still have all my crazy wrestling friends who go to these ha. I'm going to check this out on your recommendation! My neighbor has the WWE network and watching the 90's stuff made me realize I still like it, just not what's on today in the WWE.

With the crowd so heavy for Hedley, did Matt leave the choruses open for the crowd to sing on any songs or does he bypass that stuff for the festival setting?

LOL so true. The facial expressions and just overall goofballness is enough for me. Even on a very simple/cheesy plot.

It's a PG rating too I see. That's not gonna help. When a 30 year old man tries to be intimidating by saying "I'm going to kick your butt", it's hard to suspend belief lol.

So I was a big fan of wrestling when i was little, my father took me to see the WWF in the 80's and of course i was in high school during the wrestling 90's boom so loved that. And i even remember watching up to like 2006. I used to love ECW, WCW and the WWF I had my nephew over this past Monday night and he put it on. WOW. Was it always this cheesy and bad acting? Or am I getting old or out of touch? Seemed extremely boring and less interesting than at any time i could remember. Would be interested to know if anyone watches or did watch.

Daddy's Home, with Will Ferell lol. Worth a redbox rental if you like Ferell. And yes thats how I went about it lol.

Definitely some good people on this board in my short time here. Been nice talking to quite a few.

Ouch!

Would have loved to see this show, thanks for the setlist and quick review

Thanks!

So there are MGB shows in there from back in the day too? Would love to get there eventually.......

Agreed. What an era. Edgefest 2000 was one of the first festival events i was old enough to get to. Still go every once every couple years but cant beat my first experience there, because of MGB. Don't think its just because it was my first festival.

That sounds really cool. Same here. I wore shirts a lot bigger in the 90's, (hey it was the 90's), and i think tossed out one i wore all the time with a bunch of other oversized shirts. Probably fit better now too lol.

Upcoming Concerts

Planned on seeing Guns N Roses this summer. Prices for the Toronto gig are insane! Think I'll wait for the Bluray to come out.
