It's like a running joke with my friends because a good portion of my fb "on this day" reminders are posts about me at MG shows lol. There was one in summer that the 2 year ago and 3 year ago posts were both me at shows lol.

fun little throw back, on this day in 2009 I saw Matt Good at the NAC also. Mother Mother opened. great show.

This venue is a mixed venue, floor standing, and then if people wanna sit there's a balcony area up top (I've literally never seen it because I always go to the front lol). Last time it wasn't too crazy because there were a lot of young girls there for Scott Helman (who also left when he was done). I wanna say, I always come down about 2-ish hours before the show, and go to the starbucks down the street to charge my phone. Then it's a bit of walking around, scoping the line, if there's anyone there I go shoot the shit a bit with them. But tbh I'm usually no more than like 5th maybe 6th in line aha. It's not too too crazy. Plus, it's gonna be probably still pretty cold in March? Or maybe not? But if it's super cold, I'd say actually try to get there pretty early because you're gonna wanna check your coat. OR even better. Find me in line. We can stand somewhere together. And then, we can take turns holding our sweet spot at the front, to go check or coats without losing our spot up front. :D :b: But you will not regret going to the Montreal show. I LOVE this venue.

Yeah Stu and Blake are totes confirmed. Which is awesome. Anthony's been keeping busy so I don't know about him...but that would be awesome too! Getting excited! :D

He's back in Australia...so I mean they must be getting ready. And he said "for a while". I wondered it before, if the dates didn't conflict. But getting in the rehearsal time and all that before the tour, I just don't see it happening. I'd be thrilled if it did. Plus Oil is probably gonna have a lot of prep too. It's been a while.

At TURF they said it was the last show with Bones because he's back with Midnight Oil for their 2017 tour. That'd be a wicked surprise though lol. Bones was awesome. Duncan would be super cool too. Great bassist. Nice dude.

So actually, Stu said it's also not Rich. And that they already have bass covered... So the mystery continues...

Yeah he was sick at the studio before TURF and after. But I don't think he made those vocal choices to accommodate being sick...that would make no sense. I think they were purposeful. And for what it's worth I really like the registers that got tapped into. Agree.
