  1. Now we'll all have the opportunity to own three different copies of Born to Kill lol. Great tune.. great tune. I don't like the Satan part but whatever, it is what it is.
  2. As I said on Facebook "Come on hit those high notes Matt!". Sounds pretty good though. I'm a little excited.
  3. That's really too bad. It's really too bad that they can't/couldn't sort things out. In my opinion, they really had something special going. Sometimes you get a couple of guys together and its just like magic and nothing they do outside of that collaboration hits the same mark. Despite the differences between members and whatever happened, the MGB had something going. I think if they all got back together and did another album, it would be amazing. Sometimes people can not like each other at all, but do great work together. It's just that both party's have to put their personal issues aside and make it happen. Think of the money they'd probably make doing a reunion album and tour. *sigh* Oh well. One can dream. (I never got to see MGB live. Only MG).
  4. I respectfully disagree. Dave Genn was/is a great lead guitar player. Don't get me wrong, I think Matt is great, but I think as far as lead guitar goes.. (at that time), I would think Dave was Superior in that area since that's what he did for a living. My opinion though. Not trying to be rude here.
  5. I just discovered fifty mission cap. Heard it live a few times and liked how he performed it but when i finally read and understood the lyrics (a song about 2 separate things) I realized how awesome this song is.
  6. Just started giving this game another run. The music is awrsome. Atmosphere awesome. Voice acting is great. The voice of the protagonist is perfect for the role.
  7. My SIL got one of her songs played on SiriusXM Coffee house. Check it out guys https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YSXJDbtgKLE
  8. Not to mention breathing in the powder from those lights will kill you eventually. Yay for mercury. lol
  9. I watched WWF from 1988 until around 2002-2003. After that I have no idea what has happened. I totally missed the Cena and whoever came after eras. I went to college with some guys who started their own "backyard" wrestling federation and saw a show at sault college once. Wasn't too bad. Good times. I used to LOVE wrestling and as a kid I fantasized about being a wrestler, made my own belt replica's etc; Ahh to be a kid again.
  10. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NQT9jW30K5s My favourite song on the album.
  11. One of mine too. I really liked their sound on "Trouble in the Hen House". I also really liked their song bobcaygeon.
  12. Happy Birthday man! Have a good one!
  13. I felt the same way. I was that guy in my small town highschool that everyone knew was a Huge MGB fan. My friends still comment every once and a while about it. Well damn, MGB was unlike anything I ever heard and I listened to all kinds of music all my life. MGB was the first band I really appreciated on a more deep and personal level (as in every song on an album), memorised all the lyrics etc;. I never experienced anything like that before or since. I did get into AOF for a while but it was never on the same level as MGB. I remember that 90's rock scene fondly. It was junior high and part of high school for me. There was just something special about MGB, I don't know how to explain it, something magical almost. Despite all the stuff that happened between Matt and Dave in the end, the fact is, they created incredible sounding music and I will always be fond of it. They had that "magic", that ability to do incredible work together. It's too bad they can't get back together and do a project one last time. I think it would be amazing.
  14. You guys need a pop up blocker like ad-block plus so that you don't see this garbage on face book.
  15. Played through Firewatch last month. AWESOME!. Giving Star Craft 2 a go now.
  16. Yeah I'm going to give it a shot while I'm on holidays next week. I forgot to mention I also just finished Metro Last light. Got the "bad" ending, I guess I killed to many people even though I knocked out most. Oh well.
  17. I think it would be great if he put himself out more for those kinds of things. Like I said previously, it appears that people respect what he says. Whenever I've seen him on TV or heard him on the radio for anything, there always appears to be that respect there.
  18. I think it would be good for him to attend the Juno's. Simply because he's liked and people respect him. I think people would love to see him there and I think it would make for a better show. I think he's very much respected as a Canadian Artist. People listen to what he says.
  19. Just finished 2013 Tomb Raider and finally finished Hydrophobia after owning it for years and not playing it. My wife is playing the New Far Cry game (Primal?) and I decided to go back and give Mass Effect 3 another run. I'm also going to give "The Last of Us" another run because I never played the expansion.
  20. Hey guys. Has anyone on this forum spent time serving in the Military? If so, how was your experience? Did you value it? Where did you serve? What was your trade? I'll start. I served as a reservist in the 49th Field Regiment RCA for 7 years as a field artillery Solider (Gunner/Bombardier) from 2006 thru to 2013. I did not do any tours however many guys/gals from my regiment did. I saw my experience as a positive one and I value it. Lots of good times, not so good times, good friends, comradery and life enriching. I would recommend serving in the reserves to any 16-18 year old Canadian who's looking for something positive in their life, that will teach them skills, self esteem and discipline which will also give them some money to save or spend on the side. Yeah it sounds corny but it's true. I miss it allot but I just couldn't fit it into my life any more. Anyone else?
  21. Thanks guys.
  22. I love the sound that plays between Prime-time deliverance and The Inescapable Us. I call it "can't replicate" and use it as a ring tone on my cell phone when I get a text message. On strange days when Mat sings "It's evening, you're tired, you sleep walk a ro...." For some reason I hear a sound while he's saying "robot" or a pop which makes me think of the old ICQ "Uh ohh" message. Its there its hard to hear but there is a sound I swear.
  23. I know you're out there somewhere Matt! Step into the light and let us know what you think! We won't tell anyone... promise.. no Drama.. We promise! ;)
  24. I was in the lounge and can't figure out how to find this song. Can anyone help me?
  25. There was actually an extended version of that. I used to have it. It says something like "I'm a very naughty Monkey, and I really think this band is really shit.. uhh huh I am naughty". Matt: "Forget it, you can't even fucking slam my band right.. you're fired" Guy: "You slam the band." Matt: "I told you, it's.. I really fuck.. I really fucking hate this band they suck". Something like that any-ways.
