Thanks for a great year Matt! Looking forward to what 2016 brings. The shows you describe sound amazing, hopefully announcements will allow plenty of time to arrange travel. It's a long haul from Texas, but always worth it. This last tour was electric.

I keep seeing the hoodie in my FB feed. I went to that website and it looks like some kind of a fundraising thing. Kind of wierd.

I added on Underdogs and Raygun as christmas presents from my mom, so I will just have to order LOTGA when I can. In the long run, I don't really care what comes when or in what order, so long as they all get to me eventually.

I think the most I paid was about $65 for the solo acoustic at a winery. $105 does seem like a bit of a leap. I can't remember if it was mentioned, is it a pretty intimate venue?

It depends. If the issues with CN prompted them to use someone else, then my vote is the back catalogue. If it's the same pressing plant, I would guess CN. I can't even remember when we were originally supposed to get it anymore. And I just realized I will have to clean out a second shelving space for my MG stuff, I do believe I am close to capacity, and 5 new records will not fit.

This is how he was in Barrie. He came into the crowd for Lions and Girls, girls being the closer. You could tell he was going to because he ditched the guitar and it was almost le he was preparing for it mentally or something, kind of in a zone so to speak. When he left the stage initially for Girls, it almost looked like he stumbled or fell and was out of sight for more than a few moments, I was a little concerned. But he appeared again and climbed up the stairs surrounded by fans who were all over him, snapping photos, etc. He definitely screamed out the last bits and it was very powerful. After that he came back and collapsed on the stage screaming "girls in black" through the instrumental outro, on his knees, head and body on the floor. As soon as it was over, he left the stage without a word. I didn't need words, the performance of that song was more than enough for me.

You will not be disappointed. Nope, not one bit. Glad to see more people making the trek across the border.

That sucks! Sidenote: I have been listening to We Have Done This Before.. the past few days. Man I love that song, I bet it would have been great live.

Wow I hope you were refunded for the $500 item! I've had great success with ebay as a buyer and a seller. Most of my older mg stuff came from there; Avalanche, lo-fi etc. I had one poor experience where I won a record for a super low bid and the buyer cancelled the sale immediately and told me it was because he forgot to include a country on the ship to list. It was painfully obvious that he was just pissed no one else bid. It was a dick move and I told him as much. He made an arrangement on another item to make up for it but I was still pretty miffed about it.

Aaaaccckkk. Is there a benefit? I didn't want to use Amazon.ca because the shipping was weird so I ordered from the online store.

I'm not sure that it's the same as Maple Music though? Everything I received in regards to this purchase says "Matthew Good Online Store" and a search on Maple Music does not bring up any of these pre-orders. Kind of weird. I'm hoping the second wave includes WLRRR, AoB, Lo Fi and Loser Anthems. Rooms would awesome too.

I also am going to do HM and BM for now. I am definitely still as much of a completionist as I ever was, but I don't have the extra money for all of them right now. Yay for grown up priorities. If WLRRR and AoB were on the list, I would think more about it. I was hoping they might offer some kind of discount if you ordered all of them. Oh well.

I do not believe either of those stores are in the states. That being said, if maple music doesn't have it, I doubt anyone else will either. Seems to be a production issue of sorts. Same thing happened with AOD, I would just sit tight. Tony, in your case I would contact maple music about the CD. I received mine last week and I am way down here in Texas so surely you should have received yours by now.

I wonder though, if it is just going to be those two releases for now, with more on the horizon?

My turntable setup is nothing spectacular, but I do enjoy listening to records. We have a rotation we usually put on when we are entertaining, Christmas albums for that time of year, decorating the tree, etc., Jazz albums for carnival season. I don't get to do it very often with the kiddo running around, but every now and then - maybe once a year or so - when I get the house to myself, I have a little listening party, turn it up real loud, mostly all my MG stuff, some Buckley and a few others I've collected along the way.

Oh yes, I meant like waiting for it to be released, I would definitely not wait to purchase once it is available.

That's my thought too. I would almost rather wait an extra amount of time to be able to get the whole set at once. Or it would be cool to do a set of the solo stuff and a set of MGB, though I'm not sure if the latter is a possibility?

I hope you get to see it! The room was almost at capacity in Barrie and I'm not sure if that had anything to do with the cut, but I wouldn't be surprised. I lost sight of Matt in the crowd and was worried for a few moments, but he appeared again on the side stairway going up to the balcony in a sea of fans. It felt like that performance took a lot out of him, but it was top notch. I get chills still thinking about it.
