  1. The first single will be Decades and they're starting to shoot the video today! https://twitter.com/mattgood/status/881349106811125760
  2. As far as I know, this fall but that's as precise as I can be.
  3. Just how is being friends with Dale Earnhardt Jr. an accomplishments? ;)
  4. I can't find the bloody quote but from what I could understand he was saying he was part of a generation that wanted to change the world but with the Internet and so on the nerds won over the world.
  5. Right, well, it's been confirmed that he killed himself... so so sad. http://www.billboard.com/articles/columns/rock/7800878/soundgarden-chris-cornell-suicide-hanging
  6. I thought about that (grunge having a low life expectancy). But when you think about it, the people in grunge bands generally looked very unhappy (including those who are still alive today). Not only that but I've heard Billy Corgan talk about how the ideals they stood for died and how "the nerds won". Maybe that feeling is shared throughout those people?
  7. Well we should wait for the police investigation to know whether it was actually a suicide or not. But if it is, it's always surprising and somewhat disarming when something like this happens. There aren't always signs (especially for the public).
  8. Bloody hell!! http://www.cbc.ca/news/world/chris-cornell-dead-1.4120964
  9. Dave left at the end of August 2001, came back 4 days later. Then Dave and Ian left in November 2001. Of course, that's what happened publicly. There's probably loads that happened behind the scenes that we don't know about (rightfully so of course).
  10. That would be absolutely awesome! A Bad Pennies type of project!
  11. Amazing lyrics. Especially "So end like this instead of shot back at home". Sadly beautiful.
  12. Indeed! ;) Alas I do not have any exclusive info! :P
  13. That song is called "Bullets In A Briefcase" and that clip is absolutely stunning. Also, when he's singing the high part at the beginning, it's the closest Matt has come to sounding like Mark Hollis (vocally) unless it's the sound. Stunning! Simply stunning.
  14. What made you go faster? Just the inspiration or you were angry?
  15. I'm really looking forward to this one. Decades and Bad Guys Win are pretty good and that piano track (on Instagram) sounds absolutely amazing. I'm really liking where this album seems to be going.
  16. Great tune! The timing is awesome. After Trump got elected I thought you might be doing a WLRRR type of thing (lyrically speaking of course) which is always a good thing coming from you.
  17. Here are the 5 that I was able to save from Flickr. http://dropmefiles.com/6q8mo I named the files accordingly to their titles.
  18. I've found this: https://web-beta.archive.org/web/20070808031232/http://flickr.com/photos/unicornsof911/sets/72157594309847731/ But most image can't be seen bigger than the thumbnails.
  19. You're welcome! I just didn't have the time to post them earlier. Plus I wondered if incomplete songs would spark anyone's interest. ;)
  20. I totally get it. I don't think it's vanity but, who cares :p I just realized Strange Days wasn't available publicly (my bad):
  21. Here are some excerpt of the Montreal show (short because I prefer watching than filming :P) https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLsXR9GD5LDxEgtpkJQ83a2ZlsYs5AcO4l
  22. Thanks for sharing that video! I was right behind the one who shot this and was hoping to see some vids! :D
  23. Nice! I guess I kinda know what you guys look like (or not lol). That's what I loved about the show. I too know nobody who knows MG. So I went all by myself as I always do. But being in a crowd with hundreds of people singing the whole record in unison, that's an awesome experience! Plus Blake and Stu are just bloody amazing!
  24. Wow! You guys were the ones standing in front of me! Ha ha ha! That's awesome! I also love how Stu sat down with its pedal steel for Born To Kill before A Boy and His Machine Gun and quickly switched to his guitar and plugged it in a second before he was supposed to start playing! He's a ninja! Matt looked tired. He was less chatty that he usually was (which could have been the bourbon :P). But the show itself was amazing and it was the first time I was in the Corona and it is a beautiful venue. I really like Craig Stickland too.
