Weezer In Vancouver Tonight!
here is no why replied to IamNick's topic in Music In General: David Bowie Appreciation Station
new weezer is about a quarter as good as weezer up until the green album. anything after that has been so so... Pinkerton standing as the best album they ever made. -
stranger things have happened in the world. it's not too hard to believe that when you get blindsided and forcefully pushed from behind onto your monitor that it might have caused a bit of damage. either way, good one the boys for coming back and playing the shows they've been forced to cancel. new Oasis album is out on tuesday as well!

i'm a huge Velvet Underground fan, one of my favourite bands ever. Never got into his solo stuff half as much. White Light / White Heat is such a great record artistically. -
should be in shops.

I don't know about condensing Mellon Collie into one disk, you take it as it is. One of the best double albums ever made. Gish was fantastic, often forgot about because Nevermind was released a couple months after it. And whoever said it's not the same anymore, bang on. Not the same vibe. -

Adore is probably my second favourite pumpkins album, one of their most complete works for sure. -
Probably my favourite band ever. Although, I understand why most people who do not like them do it, for Corgans voice, they just can't wrap their heads around it. Fair play. Siamese Dream is my favourite album ever, pretty sure. Soma being my favourite song, hands down. They had such an amazing catelogue of songs/albums from '91 - '00. I went to their "final" concert in Chicago in 2000 and it was incredible, 3 main sets, 4 encore, over 4 hours of songs. The best show i've ever been to. What do people think? Favourite songs? Albums? Ever seen them live in their peak? Or at least with the orginal line-up still? on a side note, this morning i bought pre-sale tickets to their show on November 4th (they're playing the 3rd too) at Massey Hall. Got second row tickets, should be amazing.

would have loved to have seen them live. shame really. over the next 5 years i think we're going to have a lot of classic "RIP" threads for a lot of great musicians. -

Rubber Soul! every album is amazing, as we all know. but this is the starting point of the change in styles and attitude towards their music. I love it. It's perfect and goes hand in hand with Revolver. -
it's a funny forum, been on it for ages. i wouldn't advise new people to come online to it though... lol but it was one of the first forums i ever joined. some funny times/people. it's him writing it, probably not sitting down at the computer and doing it himself but he's at least got someone taking notes.

Don't understand why idiots like this act the way they do? No need for it. Was anyone actually there on the weekend and saw what happened? I've seen the video's and I guess the guy got charged, i mean... he was 47 years old, probably has a wife and kids. Complete douchebag. Either way, the boys came back out and finished the set. Noel supposedly went to the hospital to get checked for a cracked rib though. Liam sounded quality at the gig though, listening to the bootleg that's out already.
