  1. i thought Cleaveland Jr. was pretty funny. I hope the show gets better or i dont think it's going to last too long.
  2. Have you watched it yet? What do you think of it?
  3. that would be a great cover... again, i dont have photoshop but if someone could throw some text on that, would look excellent.
  4. No Country For Old Men is such a great film. Haven't seen There Will Be Blood yet though, always wanted to. Both would definitley be on my list of bests from the decade.
  5. "i fear that i'm ordinary, just like everyone..." --- muzzle, the smashing pumpkins
  6. too correct, he's got to have more than one acoustic. have one set aside for that specific tuning.
  7. that's why the bootleg taped by someone, i believe it was from the balcony and actually pretty good in quality, was great.
  8. there were mp3's of the whole show at one point... don't know how to get them anymore?
  9. really? you could be right, upon first listen didn't sound like it. not a big difference. what exactly is The Lone Gunman? can we get those lyrics up?
  10. for "the boy who could explode" the first... "go explode... what time is it you're waiting for" you've got "what time is that you're waiting for" minor, i know. but might as well make them perfect.
  11. not going to release just one song... release the full show.
  12. i'm a bit surprised the lyrics aren't up yet.
  13. i'm with this completley. i seem to remember having the acoustic show bootleg as well but lost it when the computer went down. all i remember is Fated being played... what was the full setlist? *edit*nevermind* Girl Wedged Under the Front of a Firebird Strange Days Load Me Up Avalanche Born Losers I'm a Window 99% of Us is Failure Silent Army in the Trees Black Helicopter Alert Status Red She's In It For the Money Generation X-Wing Odette Prime Time Deliverance Champions of Nothing Apparitions Encore 1: North American For Life Suburbia Pledge of Allegiance The Fine Art of Falling Apart Encore 2: Metal Airplanes Advertising on Police Cars Fated True Love Will Find You in the End
  14. just watched The Departed again last night, such a great movie. Very well written.
  15. We're So Heavy seems to be one of the standouts for me when I listen to the album.
  16. i've listened to everything you've mentioned. means fuck all to me, i like this band. i also really like oasis music... but we haven't got the time to list all the "influences" in that music. who cares what they sound like, just enjoy the tunes.

  18. good call for sure. love the album. love house of smoke & mirrors. his vocals are incredible.
  19. they can play long songs... Tool does it with every album. Why can't Matt?
  20. It was hard for me to choose Mellon Collie over Adore actually. I think Adore is the better album on a whole but Mellon Collie has more variety and is closer to my heart. it's too hard really to do something like this. I left out Sam Roberts, QOTSA, MACHINA, Interpol, Soundgarden, Wu-Tang, Chronic 2001... and on and on and on...
  21. The Soprano's is my favourite TV show ever. Very well written.
  22. It's also forgotten that Noel was going to take a 5 year break anyways, at least he wanted to, after this tour. So, i don't think the band is over completley, it will just be a few years before we hear of the reunion and tour to follow. They will make a lot more money by taking time off and coming back into the stream in a few years with a huge reunion tour.
  23. from what i've seen in the past... that means it's probably the next single.
