here is no why

i just don't like the fact that most war movies feel they need to apply a love story side to the movie just to appeal to more people (women, probably). Can't they just have made a proper movie about how terrible this battle actually was... doesn't have to have anything to do with love cause i'm almost positive (been studying history and such for years now) that there wasn't much love going on during those times.

wasn't half as good as the book but what can you expect. still worth seeing for sure.

If 6 was 9 and Castles have to be my favourites too... As said though, the whole album is fantastic from start to end.

yeah, i listened to the first 2 demos and that's it... will get a hold of them after the album is out, just to hear. interested to try it that way.

I just love this song. Easily one of my favourites. Wish Matt would play it live with the band. The whole album is a work of greatness.

I thought Sam's Town was great, not many people agree I guess though. Still haven't heard the new one yet.

been listening to him a lot lately. I love My Sweetheart the Drunk, what an album. Such a shame he died and couldn't continue to make music.

after finally listening to it, it's terrible. one of the worst albums i've heard in a long time. only about 3 songs worth listening to. the demo of IRS was far better than this overproduced version. the whole album was mixed terribly.

haven't heard anything from the new album at all, loved everything else they've done so far. probably will just buy it and give it a listen soon.

led zeppelin minus plant is not zeppelin. that's basically the only point that matters.

he was definitley a great bass player. Wooten would be the hendrrix of bass for me though.

So Hard Done By is one of my favourite Hip tunes ever.

plenty of those tunes, too many to name. probably Slide Away by Oasis, Man of Acion, Soma by the Smashing Pumpkins. the list is huge i'm sure.

Metal Airplanes seems to work, from experience. Same with A Single Explosion. House of Smoke and Mirrors is always good as well.

now as i'd figure, most of you probably enjoy them thouroughly... what are the most under-rated hip songs?

he should have played it a few times on the acoustic tour, would have been brilliant. think the war refernces are just metaphors for his life at the time. how he was feeling and such.
