  1. i don't think he should call himself MGB anymore, that was a collection of four guys, even if he did write most of the material. i don't think he would do that/want to do that (clearly). He should continue playing more with a full band and he seems to love this new line-up lately, seems to be very fresh.
  2. i love that song... but i've always thought it was "sell the sad" instead of the lyrics posted.
  3. I've seen matt a few times there, you should be able to get a camera into the venue pretty easily. As for the train, I would think it would be smarter to do that than drive. But just like you said, you'd have to take the bus back... is it worth it? Not sure. The drive home won't be hard on a friday night just the ride to Hamilton. I'd stick with the car even though the traffic won't be great, just give yourself plenty of time in the afternoon, hang out in hamilton for a bit if need be.
  4. the audio of being
  5. Hamilton Place is going to be great. Probably one of the better venues he's going to be playing at on this whole tour. Especially for sound quality.
  6. haven't listened to it and by the sounds of it, i won't want to. I didn't mind Maladroit, everything went downhill afterwards though. Nothing will ever top Pinkerton for me.
  7. he should do it somewhere, i would LOVE a dvd concert from him. It's a perfect time right now too...
  8. still no Suburbia yet... c'mon matt! play it in st. catharines!
  9. maybe a live DVD and CD package?
  10. didn't matt say something about a lap steel on Suburbia this time around? It hasn't been played yet though...
  11. Fredericton Setlist: Champions Of Nothing A Single Explosion Odette Weapon The Devil's In Your Details Hello Time Bomb Born Losers Load Me Up Put Out Your Lights Blue Skies Over Bad Lands Black Helicopter I'm A Window 99% Of Us Is Failure Apparitions Encore: Giant Avalanche nice review spring. put out your lights seems to be in an odd place in the set for me but who knows, sounds like a great show.
  12. this actually looks a lot better than the other movie, got me excited about it now!
  13. nobody has got a clue?
  14. hopefully he does go through with this idea he's got... i would love a live DVD too!
  15. it's 2 blocks from Brock University. it's a outdoor bar during the summer. i live in st. catharines so... i was actually there last friday briefly for a bit. arizona's holds about 1200 on a good weekend night (fridays and saturdays are packed to the tits)
  16. i'm with you on this one... i've given them a few tries over the years and it just doesn't sit well with me.
  17. still waiting for Suburbia then i guess... the new version that he's playing sounds sick.
  18. soup is great, both albums are actually but i'd listen to soup first. i just wish the song "soup" was on it but that's on Nico.
  19. yeah, Alan was a great drummer for Oasis.
  20. nah... no rain was a one off basically, they have so much to their songs when you really give a listen. great song writing. i'd say check them out, you'd probably be pleasantly surprised.
  21. it's all a bit "meh" for me... so probably not.
  22. Zak is a great drummer, amazing at times really. He just didn't fit well into the Oasis rock n roll sound i don't think. Sharrock is a great drummer, the la's were pretty great and his drumming is stellar. i don't listen robbie at all, couldn't really tell you what kind of skill he needs to play his tunes.
  23. Noel won't be doing a solo project until Oasis are finished for good. Zak is gone, supposedly replaced by Chris Sharrock, who played in the La's and with Robbie. Nothing has been confirmed as of yet though.
