How Many Times Have You Seen Matt Live?
here is no why replied to saraislipknot's topic in Matthew Good
sure man, we should see if we can get a bunch of people to meet up who are going from here. maybe we should start a thread on it? -
that cannot be a direct result of this thread. at least, i hope not.

$40 for 12 hours... not worth it, should be cheaper... ;) ok, back on track... So to the people who have went to the shows thus far... which song comes across better live than on record? -
where did this 12 hour set bullshit come from? it's ridiculous. all the real fans would just like a few more songs... i can't see why that is so horrible to ask for? he is entitled to play what he wants, obviously. just like we're entitled to discuss what we'd like to hear or not. it goes both ways.

Am I The Only One Up For Another Straight Rock Album?
here is no why replied to ccf23's topic in Matthew Good
i'm thinking there will be a break after Vancouver/touring the album as well. Hope it's not true but i can see it happening. maybe an acoustic/folk style rock album of sorts? i'd love to hear that. -

i agree with everything that was just said. I have been a fan of Matt's and will continue to be forever. this is a discussion about the tour from the hardcore fans across the country that has made Matt a star. The whole point of this topic was to discuss what we like/don't like from the tour. If people want to discuss the bad, so be it. I have made numerous posts about what i'd like to hear and such but always have said that no matter what Matt and co. decide to play, the show will be great. That's a given. The fact is, this thread was made for the purpose of open discussion, good or bad and YOU have the choice to read it or move on to another thread. This is a Matthew Good forum, filled with the biggest Matthew Good fans, most who have been there through everything. These people pay good money for your albums and your tours, some travel to numerous places to see the show. Gas is expensive as well. If the REAL fans (not the ones who show up and scream throughout your shows, as talked about... or shout "rico" over and over) want to comment on how'd they'd love the show to be longer... isn't that a compliment anyways? I'd love to hear Man of Action, Near Fantastica, Suburbia, Odette and such and i'll continue to express those feelings throughout... but I also enjoy whatever is played for me anytime i have been to see one of my absolute FAVOURITE artists ever. Always will. Saying that... i wonder why "on nights like tonight" hasn't been done yet...? -

If it's the true setlist... i love the idea of closing with Champions, great way to end the show. Also, i'm glad Avalanche has made it's debut on the tour. -

Champions live was far better than the album version! -
watched Up! online, pretty great movie. if you like that sort of thing. Probably wll be buying it tomorrow upon it's release.
-
so... the original movie, made about 10 years ago now was great. loved it. classic film throughout my highschool years. now, All Saints Day is arriving to us soon, about time they did a second part. Any interested in seeing it? I hope it's not horrible, which i can totally see happening after waiting so long to do the second part.

I dont think we're going to get anything different. New songs and the same tunes he played last year with this band. That's it. Nothing new or different, I'm not sure they've learned anything else. -
nope, not at all. especially when you can get all the songs on a different release anyways.
-
1) Last Parade 2) Sort of a Protest Song 3) While We Were Hunting Rabbits 4) Going All the Way 5) Volcanoes 6) Empty Road 7) Load Me Up 8) Great Whales of the Sea 9) A Silent Army in the Trees

still a lot of money to throw down for that album to me... but yeah, hopefully you get it!
