  1. I've been playing a lot of Super Smash Bros on my Wii U and am just getting into PC gaming since I just finished building my first rig. Day Z is the PC game I'm playing a lot of right now.
  2. Guitar Pro 5 and 6 are the shit man. I used 5 for about 3 years and am almost done my first year with 6. The learning curve is pretty fair too, with it being easy to learn the basics, as well as having some advanced technical things you can do with it. Since I do a lot of composing, I use it pretty frequently, but even if you won't use it often I'd consider checking out the demo for 6. It can be a very good program for learning tabs and other sheet music too, and the playback quality is excellent. The only drawbacks with it are that if you don't have much experience tabbing there aren't many tutorials that come with the program, but YouTube is a pretty good source for tuts and walkthroughs. It's a solid 9/10 program in my opinion.
  3. I made and posted this a few months ago. I can try and grab out Garden of Knives, but no garantes. http://www.songsterr.com/a/wsa/matthew-good-had-it-coming-tab-s384350t
  4. Recently, I found a pair of head phones on the ground. They seemed like they were old and probably broken, but I tried them anyways. To my surprise they were functioning, however, they removed center-panned audio. Needless to say I decided to listen to some Matt Good with these things, and I am glad I did. I don't know if any of you ever listen to music by removing center-panned audio, but if you don't you should. I brings subtleties of a song forward, like back-up vocals and such. I highly recommend that you guys try listening to some of Matt's music like this, and, (if I'm allowed) I can upload Matt's catalog sans center-panned audio to the lounge if you guys are that inclined. Here is an example of what it does for those who have never heard a song edited like this before: https://www.youtube....h?v=n9jjx9ILEmU
  5. No, it's not up anymore. The only place you can get them from is The Lounge unless someone messages you them. I don't know if Anton plans to put them in the store, but seeing as how many tracks there are for the project, I doubt he will. Here are all the tracks; there are 25 of them. 1. So Close (Belleville, October 14, 2013) 2. Letters in Wartime (Moncton, October 16, 2013) 3. Garden of Knives (Saint John, October 17, 2013) 4. Alert Status Red (Halifax, October 18, 2013) 5. Had It Coming (Fredericton, October 19, 2013) 6. We're Long Gone (Brockville, October 21, 2013) 7. Weapon (Peterborough, October 21, 2013) 8. Guns Of Carolina (Kingston, 24 October, 2013) 9. While We Were Hunting Rabbits (Hamilton, October 25, 2013) 10. Mutineering (Sarnia, October 26, 2013) 11. Born Losers (Barrie, October 28, 2013) 12. Shallows Low (Kitchener, October 29, 2013) 13. Last Parade (Toronto, November 1, 2013) 14. Via Dolorosa (Montreal, November 2, 2013) 15. Hey Hell Heaven (Parry Sound, November 4, 2013) 16. Apparitions (Winnipeg, November 7, 2013) 17. Non Populous (Edmonton, November 14, 2013) 18. Load Me Up/Alert Status Red (Calgary, November 15, 2013) 19. The Future Is X Rated (November 16, 2013) 20. Champions Of Nothing (Banff, November 18, 2013) 21. Everything Is Automatic (Lethbridge, November 19, 2013) 22. Giant (Penticton, November 22, 2013) 23. Arrows Of Desire (Naniamo, November 25, 2013) 24. Hello Time Bomb (Vancouver, November 28, 2013) 25. Champions Of Nothing (Vancouver, November 28, 2013)
  6. There are a few T.V. shows that have done episodes on Matt, but I don't believe a book exists, and to what extent the shows deliver on Matt's past and his influences I don't know as I have never seen them. I can try and dig some up, but I think they can all be found pretty easily on YouTube. EDIT: This is probably as close as you'll get
  7. I made one for the demos using the title Chaotic Neutral since that seems to be the fan favourite. Enjoy :)
  8. Just looked it up and yeah, he was. Nearly every show they did that. That must have gotten stale quickly for the band then. Truth be told I don't remember them playing Born Losers at either show I went to though. Guess you can't really trust your own memory after all :P
  9. That sounds like it would have been a great concert. Also, what do you mean by Born Losers and Non Populous being broken up? Just the things they in between the songs, like a transition?
  10. Wish I could hear that PTD. I'm assuming it was acoustic then if he did it on his own.
  11. There are actually 2 versions of Agoraphobe plus Ryan's solo version though, so 4 songs recorded, 3 written. Of the 3 songs they wrote, I'd say that Agoraphobe really is a true song whereas the other 2 are just them goofing around.
  12. Damn! Was really hoping that he had and that maybe there was a copy out there somewhere in the interwebs. Annabelle is one of my favourite songs by him (I normally listen to it as a pick me up) so that's pretty disappointing :/ Seeing how far he is into his career I doubt we'll ever see it then. Guess we can't hear 'em all though.
  13. I agree with everything you said Adrian, except the part about the fan recordings "not being bootlegs". A bootleg is something that is made, distributed, or sold illegally, and technically, we don't have direct consent to record from anyone in charge of the shows, thus making it a little illegitimate. Even you yourself said that you couldn't get a response in regards to recording an upcoming set. We may not be selling our goods, but we are producing and distributing them. In a counter-point against my own argument (playing Devil's Advocate here), Matt has said "If you have live bootlegs, and want to share them, please feel free to do so." on his post here http://www.matthewgo...4/2/17/rarities , so I would assume that he's okay with fans recording to some degree if he openly encourages us to share the already existing bootlegs, which, in a way doesn't make them bootlegs. Anyways, I'm really starting to get off-topic, so I'll just end here.
  14. Two years seems like a while, but it really isn't. If he never toured I'm sure he could pump an album out every year, but I don't think any of us here would want that :P And besides, like AndroidsDungeon said, he still is far faster at putting out new, quality material than most other bands out there, so we really are lucky.
  15. Is it maybe just a licensing issue in the Sates? I can see the album on most Canadian streaming sites.
  16. With the amount of quality bootlegs that are out there, and the fact that Matt did Live Road over the last tour, another live album is not something I would really b interested in right now. I'd buy it, but I don't think that it'd be on repeat for that long. I agree with you in that it probably won't happen, but maybe we'll get lucky and Matt will do a Live Road 2.0 on one of his next tours. Personally, I'd rather see him try his hands at the country album he's always wanted to make.
  17. Hey Hell, Heaven and Garden of Knives are my two favourites from this album. Overall though, only Garden of Knives would be the only song from this album in my top 15!
  18. Not sure if posts in this thread count towards post numbers or not, but this will be my 50th post if it does. It took me four years to get this far, but I don't regret a single minute of it! well... maybe I regret a couple of minutes... *cough*should've studied*cough*
  19. Hey, I was wondering what you guys use for custom album art on some of the unofficial releases like Bon Tempo or demo sets. Do you make your own artwork, leave the artwork blank, or do you tag the songs into an existing album? Personally, I hate it when an album doesn't have artwork, and I (poorly) make my own so as to have a visual stimulus. I don't do that for live recordings often though, and normally just tag on a photo from Matt playing live and use it as the album art. If anyone has any art that they use for their albums, I guess this would be a good thread to link them in (if you're interested in sharing, that is). Here are the ones I've made. I've linked the Live Road art before, but never anything else. Live Road : http://tinypic.com/r/r26ik5/8 JackPillowHead+ : http://tinypic.com/r/2e0k306/8 Bon Tempo : http://tinypic.com/r/s2cdc8/8
  20. Looking back on my old picks I can see that my tastes have changed. Now I'd be more inclined to say that Zero Orchestra or Non Populous would be my pick(s) for his solo work, and for MGB I'd probably say Prime Time or Change of Season.
  21. I think I'd lean more towards setlist 2 since it has some more of my personal favourites in it. Last Parade, Man of Action, and Prime Time all in one set would be so great. Overall I prefer the composition of setlist 2 as well, and I feel that it would flow better than set 1. On a side note, has Matt ever played Annabelle live?
  22. Disregard this post, I found the answer myself. A mod or admin can delete this post. OP:How many posts is it to get into the lounge again? 60? I'd forgotten about it after the layout change :P
  23. I don't know much about these things, but I have I seen one go up for around 40$ on eBay once as the starting price. It sold at around 200$, but it was paired with an Avalanche vinyl, so I don't know if it sold for that price based on the Loser Anthems plaque or based on the vinyl. As for the number, I would assume that there was probably at least 100 in print. It would make sense based on the numbers on the side of the standard Loser Anthems. Hope that helps :)
  24. Did anyone manage to catch it while it was up?
  25. Thanks man! That is a great collection, and I will definitely subscribe to see the rest when they are up. I'm anxiously awaiting the first one to finish processing, haha.
