Typical Colplay lyrics with a harder sound. I liked it fine enough, but I read that this new album was supposed to be a departure from the previous albums, and if this song is any indication, it can't be that big of a leap. I hope the rest of the songs are more intriguing. I too think Parachutes is Coldplay at its best.

As excited as I am about Iron Man, I get to see it tomorrow night with my friends, so I'm not going to pick that. I'm also hella interested in Indy Jones. The toss up for me was between X-Files and Batman. I enjoyed X-Files growing up so it's definitely got the nostalgia going for it, but no trailers have been released (that I know of) and it doesn't seem like it will be a huge event. Batman, on the other hand, is going to be fucking EPIC. Seriously. It looks spectacular.

So Obama is the only one opposing the temporary elimination of the gas tax (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ywQKYga6uMY). McCain and Hillary both want it. Aside from that, every candidate wants to open the U.S. oil reserves, which are about 97% full. This could alter price 5 to 25 cents for every gallon, but I'm wary about this, too. I'm not against using the reserve for different reasons (it's technically meant for times when the supply of oil is low, not when production costs or other factors have raised prices too high), but it just doesn't seem worth it, especially if it's only for the summer. It won't deal with the problem at hand: OPEC (and U.S. big business) is whoring the American people without a care. Thoughts?

Dude, you're right. He does kind of sound like Borat. But James, if you actually play it, it's not that bad. The comedic parts are better voice acting than the serious, though. Your character blatantly makes fun of people and they just don't notice haha.

I had a dream that some kind of bomb exploded near the Norfolk ports, and a war destroyed most of the rest of the U.S. People in the ports were isolated, but a disturbance from the bombardments caused small islands to rise in the Chesapeake Bay and out into the Atlantic. Fortunately, they were not volcanic like Tristan de Cunha, or we'd have another disaster on our hands. Anyway, people lived on these mounds (all connected by wooden bridges), and we were all lead by a gay guy that looked like Tobias Funke from Arrested Development. There were always gay parties at night and even sex with llamas and little bugs that looked like that speedy one from the Rescuers. Some black chick kept wanting to sleep with me; it was weird because she was on the verge of stalking me and I wasn't attracted to her fatness in the slightest. One day, I got fed up with the nonsense of this "civilization." I decided there had to be more people that this Tobias figure wasn't telling us about. So after our breakfast (everyone had it together; I'm sure it had brainwashing drugs in it), I set off in my investigator's clothes as far as the bridges and mounds would take me into the ocean. I went very far, and eventually I saw what looked like a civilization on the sea with skyscrapers and cars and everything. I went there and I found my love, who looked like Sam from Battlestar Galactica. He told me that this civilization branched out from the British and other European coasts to gather refugees from the United States. It was actually built atop a boat, and for some reason it was very rainy and drab like the city in Blade Runner, just without all the flashing signs. In any case, I was to take the news back to the others, so I climbed ladders and jumped through holes (wooo platformer.. ugh), aided by a Nicole Kidman figure. As I reached the border of the ship civilization, my dream ended.

Are you serious? Sad day indeed. I clicked on it knowing it was a joke, but I wanted to know if it was a rickroll or something else, so I clicked on it for the lulz. If you genuinely though it was real, that's just shameful. Especially after we all got duped by Crusader on April 1..
