I've been waiting for a game of the year edition to come out so I don't have to buy all the DLC separately. I've played it a bit and enjoy it, but it can be frustrating at times for sure.

How... and where?

No one is faulting you for that. It makes the most sense, in terms of logistics. When you have a catalog the size of yours, there's always going to be songs that don't get played. Can't do much about it, other than play three hour shows, which isn't possible in most cases. I totally agree with you that your band is amazing. I don't think a group of musicians that you've used have ever been this cohesive, even with a new member in the mix.

Damn what a show!! You west coasters are so damn lucky! That's an amazing setlist.

Judging by Matt's Instagram post last night, the show tonight should be a good one for those lucky enough to be there.

I appreciate this song a lot more having heard it on the last tour. I'm also hoping that I Miss New Wave starts to make appearances when he eventually tours for the new album.

There seems to be a trend there, for sure. Only Matt can give true insight into it. I'm surprised some of the songs from that album don't get more play from him. Via Delorosa is one of the best recordings from the Live Road ones, IMO. Had It Coming also got some pretty good airplay. To be honest, there aren't really any standouts from that album that I really need to hear live again. They're all solid choices, but not necessarily at the top of my favorites list. Maybe there's a technical challenge or issue with playing the material live.

I can rate that one. It's a stupid comedy that has some funny parts. It's good to watch if you're in a mood for that type of movie. Just don't expect a lot from it. Lion

I really like this version of the song. The instrumentation is great, and Matt's take on the vocals are a cool change.

I wanted to know what the circumstances surrounding his hotel room procedure, but maybe I don't.

FM96 is the rock station here, and they barely play any of his new stuff. They played Had It Coming, but nothing new since. It's the classics of his or nothing at all. It's pretty sad.

It looks pretty good. Can't say I love the zombie hordes and how that plays out, but I'm interested to see how the game turns out. It might tide me over until The Last of Us 2, whenever it's coming.

If nothing is announced soon, I would imagine it'll be pushed to the winter. They usually announce the shows a fair bit in advance.

Had It Coming got a surprising amount of airplay, but my local station has gone back to the old stuff. It would be nice to hear this one on the radio though.

I don't know what the premise is for the new video, but I like the song, and I like the visuals he's posted on Instagram so far.

Fall is the only time frame that we've heard so far.

It was so weird to hear about this when I woke up this morning. It's still hard to believe. Such a talented voice, and one of the underrated voices of the grunge scene. I hope the rumours of how it happened aren't true.

That Niagara Falls one sounds pretty great. I don't know if I want to gamble and hope that there's enough space left when I get there. Depends on what other one-off shows he's going to be doing this summer. I don't see him being in Ontario for just one free show, especially with the full band.

Now that's a find. Wow. It'd be a challenge to find something to play it on, if you were to. I'd be pretty nervous to do it though, since I remember many cassettes being pulled out and ruined back in the day.

Bought a Switch this weekend, and my kids and I have been playing Mario Kart 8 Deluxe. Pretty fun to play, and has a lot more to offer than I originally thought.

I'm sure Matt could redo any of the older albums and it would do well. We've kind of already gotten that in a few cases when he reworks an old song to play live again, like Rabbits. Personally, I'd love to hear Prime Time Deliverance again live, one of my favorite songs. The problem is that as an artist, you can't keep going back to the remaster well, unless you're well over the hill creatively. Matt looks to be in the prime of his career creatively. I agree with Emma where I'd like to hear more new stuff. There's no reason you couldn't work in another remaster album and tour in a couple years. I'm sure it also has to do with whatever arrangement he has with Warner, and how well BM did in terms of numbers. Don't want to shit all over the intention of your post. Just adding my two cents.

I'm loving everything that I've heard so far. The little clips from recording have been awesome.

I really like this song. I've been listening to it a lot since yesterday, and it keeps growing on me. There's so much going on musically on this track. I love the guitar especially in the song. There's obviously a good reason to release this song now, and it's really great.

I heard an interview with Matt where he said the record would be released in the fall. I can see a fall tour that wraps up by Christmas, as he's done in years past. I really enjoyed this tour's show, and it seemed like Matt did as well.
