It's pretty sad that I don't have anything to play a CD on anymore except for my laptop. My new car doesn't come with a CD player, which feels weird. Gone are the days of keeping some discs in the car. I'm going to grab a copy of it on the weekend.

If You're Looking For Action/drama Tv Shows To Watch..

Welcome back Marcy. I couldn't agree more about Arrival. It was an amazing movie that I highly recommend. -
He's been working in some more rare songs on each tour, so I'm hoping he would continue to do the same. Matt has said many times that they're restricted when it comes to working in older stuff, since they have a limited time to rehearse with the whole band. An acoustic tour would be fantastic again. It's been a while.

Not super related, but one of my favourite shows, Letterkenny, is doing a live thing on St Patrick's Day here in London. Going to try for tickets.

I can really appreciate this album as a whole. This is probably the most cohesive album that he's ever done. Nothing seems out of place compared to the other songs. I really like the vibe on this record. Bullets is my favourite so far. I was surprised at the length of the record, but 40 minute albums aren't unusual anymore.

The band itself has become a lot more fun to watch. It looks like they're having fun. Peter looks like the type that likes to be in the background, which is fine with me. I don't really think a combination has ever sounded better than this. I do miss Anthony on some stuff though.

Alan said the new year for the tour, so it could be a little warmer, especially by the time he gets to Ontario.

The live stream was really cool. I didn't listen to the performances, because I'm going to listen to the album start to finish a few times before I go back and rewatch it. The haircut suits him. The shout out to the site was pretty cool. Matt is a guy who genuinely appreciates his fans, from what I can tell.

RIP GORD DOWNIE

Really sad day for Canadian music and Canada as a whole. No one has had more of an influence in Canadian music than Gord, and I don't think anyone ever will. At least he left us with his music and memories. It wasn't a surprise, but it's still very sad. -
Thanks. I should've specified that it's not available for me. I pay for the Apple Music service, and for some reason, that track only isn't available for download. Every other song on the soundtrack is, but occasionally there are songs that you can't download, even though you're paying for it.

No news is bad news i guess..... :(

I have a copy of a punk cover of "Walk Like An Egyptian" kicking around still. I have no idea who the artist is, but it's amazing. I was also watching the Disney movie Brave last night. Over the end credits, there was a cover of a Mumford and Sons song sung by a woman that was fantastic. It's a bummer that you can't get it on iTunes. I don't mind covers that are similar, but Matt's interpretation is quite different, and I love it.

I signed up for the draw. That would be pretty awesome. Love Alan Cross too.

He's had a pretty long and varied career. The number of artists he's worked with is very impressive. It is bizarre for the producer to get royalties from the album. They're looking to make the most money they can like everyone else, I guess.

That makes me feel old...

Odette is really the only one that stands out from the rest of the group when played together.
-
I agree with your theory. Might be songs he's taken a liking to since listening through all of his stuff. I'd definitely like to hear Fine Art live, for what it's worth.

Don't think anyone has talked about this, but there was a pretty interesting post from Matt or his people at the beginning of the week. http://www.matthewgood.org/best-of-last INSTRUCTIONS Using whatever platform or service you like, place the following songs in the following order. Enjoy. COLD WATER TIGER BY THE TAIL LOS ALAMOS HARRIDAN NON POPULUS SET ME ON FIRE A LONG WAY DOWN VOLCANOES ON NIGHTS LIKE TONIGHT IT'S BEEN A WHILE SINCE I WAS YOUR MAN ODETTE FLIGHT RECORDER FROM VIKING 7 THE FINE ART OF FALLING APART HOUSE OF SMOKE AND MIRRORS Pretty solid list if you ask me. I'm curious if this is from Matt himself.

He had a lot of songs that I didn't realize were his until the local radio station started playing them this morning.
-
I like both, but the newer version has a chill vibe that I really like.

I Miss New Wave is moving up the list for me, especially considering the updated version.

That's kind of strange that there's been no announcement and it's due to come out in just over a month.

I am going to check out the album, but I really like the single. Nice to have new music again.
