I will listen to SWW, and haven't slept in years at times but that's usually about it. Just never got into the album

I think that this tour sold more tickets than the previous. You have a lot more casual fans coming out to hear the album being played. If you have a sold out show it would take longer to interact with each person and it would likely limit the personal interaction to a quick "hi hope you enjoy the show". I will say that the merch for this tour looks to blow the merch from previous tours out of the water. I hope this trend continues.

I may be wrong but I believe the same or a similar intro was done during the original BM tour before the shows would start. Kind of like the answering machine recording beeps/movie bytes and other things that were done during the BM tour.

Going to see the Incubus/Jimmy Eat World tour and the Muse/30secs tour this summer. Also Green Day next month on my bday. Should be a fun time.

I remember when I became a fan of MGB seemingly the bootlegs I would find would be from the Commodore. As a young boy in the States I kept thinking of how cool a venue it must be. I may be wrong but the big 3 seemingly were Commodore, Vogue, and the warehouse. I would love to see pics of all 3 from the outside and in just to ease my curiosity over the years. #switchingtoapple

yeah I think this issue needs to be addressed with the management of the arena. This is now 4 people (the guy in Tony's post also) who were treated horribly by staff at the venue. 3 of whom are huge MG fans and post here regularly. Maybe we can trend it #boycottcommodore #commodore64

I may be mistaken but isn't this the same venue where Tony and his girlfriend were also treated like shit? Maybe someone needs to contact venue management about their asshole employees. Think of it like this Tony and Adam are two people that we know for sure got shit treatment what about the hundreds of other concert fans who aren't on this forum? If people didn't know any better they could think that these jerks work for Matt and stop going to his shows over it. It's a travesty that people would abuse power. They probably took the lyrics to X Rated literally.

Adam it sucks that this happened to you. If a venue doesn't want someone to bootleg a show and it is their stance they should maybe put up a sign instead of threatening someone. Total bullshit move especially when everyone has their cell phones recording these days. At least the story had a happy ending for you though. The whole "lets go to the back and have a chat" You should have told them "Sure but can Matt come too since his has been ok with tapings in the past, or how about we bring some of these people videotaping with us" Seems like it was a prick worker who singled you out.

Holy shit did Advertising On Police Cars sound great. I just heard the video on youtube and the ending jam sounded perfect. I would love for this song to keep being played. I like how Matt and the guys make the changes so that the song never sounds exactly the same twice. The little tweaks are great for someone who either attends multiple shows or collects bootlegs. Also I would imagine it's more fun for the band to experiment too. Absolutely great stuff.

Hi Marcie, The best way to get games for low cost is to either check out gamestop (not sure if they are in canada) or you could do amazon.com. Another cool trick is that Wal-Mart price matches amazon so if you have a wal-mart near you and don't want to wait for shipping you can go and show them on a smart phone the ad and they will price match.

Adam put my thoughts into play almost to a T. However after hearing the new renditions I am in love with them. The extended jam on Running For Home is a favorite. The way matt sings FTRT is something that I didn't think could be pulled of in a live format. Matt mentioned some songs never being played live. I am going to say Going All The Way and FTRT are 2 that were never played live. I have a ton of bootlegs and until now had never heard either song live. Both sounded as though Matt and the band were playing them for years. I am glad that Matt's wife does not have cancer however she wills till be in my prayers. If you have the chance to see Matt on this tour do it. I have heard the recordings as most of you have and the band is on fire! Do not miss this

I joined the EA Access it's incredible. over 40 games basically to play whenever. They are adding Madden 17 next week. i love UFC2 and play some of the battlefield games on there also. Unravel is fun and has great graphics.

Hearing him do Clapton's Tears In Heaven would be impressive I think.

Matt wrote a song about instances just like this and what Tony is experiencing also he will be playing it tonight actually. "lets go out going all the way" Go out there and have the time of your life listening to one of the best albums ever created being played in full..... and get well soon also!

Sharon that is exactly what happened with me. My LOES shirts both shrunk to high hell. The hospital music ones were all fine though as were the solo acoustic ones. I have two from the vancouver tour and they both shrunk to high hell also.

Decades has grown on me. I have heard the 2 or 3 versions posted so far and it seems it gets better every time. Aging like a fine wine. Tony I agree on the lighting the youtube video for Giant also shows off the kick ass lighting show. Matt went all out on this tour and the fans are definitely loving it.

I know ever since the Vancouver tour for some reason the shirts would always shrink when I washed them. This happens with a few band shirts like weezer and 30 secs to mars also. Has that been the case with anyone else? Ever since the vancouver tour I have bought shirts one size up and been fine but I have always been curious if it's just me?

I would pay $100 for that absolutely. Really quick question did you happen to see what merch is being sold and the prices? I won't be hitting up a show as I am in the states but I have a buddy on the bored that I am paypaling some $$ to and am curious to prices and if any pics happen to be floating around. I definitely want to snag the newest jersey if it is being sold.

Tony, I am sorry that this happened to you. I had an incident like this occur in Buffalo with Pearl Jam. My friend is a police officer and him and I along with a group of maybe 8 other people were standing behind a gated area waiting to see Eddie. He rides in a black SUV type vehicle and we stood there waiting patiently. This rude guard shows up and starts telling people they need to "get the fuck out of here and just go home". One of the men waiting said something to the lines of "you don't own this it's public property". The guard was getting pissed and as we walked near the man my friend Chris pulls out his badge and says "Do you own this property?" The guard was shocked. Chris told him as long as the small crowd is standing there minding their business behind an actual fence they can stay. As luck would have it 45 mins later Eddie comes out along with another giant bodyguard, looks over to the small group waves and hops in his suv. I was surprised at how short he was to be honest but he did smile at the small group and stood there enough for people to snap quick pics of him. Now the question I ask is who do you blame for this? Is it the artist specifically telling their guards/bouncers/tour people to get the fans out before they get to their bus or are these bouncers/tour people just pricks and not wanting to monitor a few people looking for a pic/autograph? The other thing I can say on Matt's defense is that for this tour he has the VIP option so I could see to where it may not be fair for some to pay to get the VIP perks and then just have people wait and get a more personalized pic for free after the show. Either way there is no excuse for how Tony and his girlfriend were treated. Tony I know you are a huge fan and I hope you do go to the show tonight and have a great time. Don't let one rude tour worker ruin the years you have built as a fan of Matt's work.

It's not a bad idea. Based on the live show reviews I kind of wish he would do remakes of the full album. Imagine re-worked versions of the songs you named plus Rico (we know matt doesn't like the song). How about a new version of deep six? Plenty of options to go with. My ideal dream would be for Matt to book double shot venues meaning he would play 2 nights in the same building night one Underdogs night 2 Audio of Being. I think it would be huge for ticket and merch sale as well as the future setlists since the band would now have a bigger catalog of songs to dig from.

I know of at least 12 shows being recorded.
