I don't trust 90% of university students to own guns. Didn't the shooter leave for a pretty extended amount of time after the first shooting before returning again? The school's response after the first shooting should've been a lot quicker and more decisive.

I'd rather see 30 students killed every 5 years in a random occurrence like what happened at VA Tech than hear about some drunk kid killing his friend every week if this "solution" were applied.

this isn't a bad idea. you can get a good electronic tuner with a microphone (assuming you're playing acoustic) for no more than $19 u.s.d. it's a very good idea to tune with your ears because you want to be training them, but at the same time, it's not *as* helpful if you're hearing sharp or flat notes all the time.

what kind of music do you listen to? do you have a last.fm or something we can go by? the quickest way to learn is to learn things that you would want to learn.

play the 6th fret of your low E string and the open A string and tune the E down so that it matches the A. the E is now Eb, now tune the rest of the strings to that one.
