  1. Maybe try clicking the link next to the text "Download Link:" ?
  2. Yeah, but you owe me for this, Wes!
  3. I specified "physical appearance" in my last post, not attractiveness.
  4. My bad, I forgot about the direct correlation between physical appearance and musical talent.
  5. Is it just a lighting trick in photos like that, or was there some specific event marking Matt Good's transition from looking nice to being unattractive?
  6. That's cool. If you ever want to shoot production ideas back and forth sometime, I am a prolific instant messenger-user. Edit: And I want to hear your bands. Have you posted them before??
  7. Seriously, you THREW AWAY your CDs instead of trading them in at a store or giving them to Goodwill?
  8. Haha, fair enough. Do you have any connection to music beyond listening? You seem more engaged than someone who is just listening for fun.
  9. I can maybe hear that in the composition itself of the lead guitar, but the tonal difference is like night and day. Besides that, the part itself could be compared to almost any lead guitar layering in modern North American pop music, so I still don't understand why you chose The Killers. Edit: And failing any agreement on any of that--you'll at least admit the key difference is that Matt Good is a talented singer and songwriter?
  10. Award shows are just elaborate advertisements, anyway. (For the record, I've never heard K-os.)
  11. I'll admit that I'm not an avid Killers listener, but I really don't see the comparison on any level. The inclusion of a synth layer makes it The Killers?
  12. Now if Zach Braff were only as interested in good writing, acting, or directing. Edit: But getting slightly closer to being on topic again, does anyone know anything about his acoustic guitars or photos of him recording with them (so I can rip off the mic placement, of course.) Edit #2: Argue with me about the track, Shade! Are you interested or involved in music production in some way?
  13. I don't think people who wouldn't buy the album would be searching for this on the NF Bored, anyway.
  14. Just delete this post if this isn't what you had in mind, Anton: Matthew Good "A Single Explosion" [unmastered] [hide_me]http://www.sendspace.com/file/tooc1j[/hide_me]
  15. I have it recorded, but I don't know how to limit who gets it or anything like that. Any suggestions, Anton?
  16. I'll record it and upload it if I won't get banned or anything?
  17. Haha, we'll see how much changes, then! Mastering aside, the arrangement seems a lot more sparse than was the trend with Avalanche and the recording doesn't sound as saturated as WLRRR did. I personally think I like it better this way, with the exception of the drums being too dry, but I'm certain at least that much will be altered. Edit: Is there any info floating around about Matt's acoustic guitars or photos of him in the studio recording with them? His acoustic guitar tone makes me want to commit suicide (in a good way.)
  18. I'm surprised you guys are so happy about this, it seems especially poppy for MG (especially the little synth in the background of the heavy part.) I like it, but I thought this was the Bored that hates Indestructible and stuff like that. The production is nice, it sounds a lot more raw than the last two records did.
  19. So you could see how fun it is to have MS ???
  20. Not because they're handicapped, probably...
  21. As cheesy and stereotypical an answer as it is, Casablanca.
  22. I remember the first time I left the assembly plant. I MEAN I REMEMBER BEING A YOUNG HUMAN CHILD IN SCHOOL. ;)
  23. No, I was sincerely insulting people with disabilities. ;)
  24. Bring phony police officers with you (Hot Cops), and when the $100,000 changes hands, give them a little plastic bag of flour and have the "cops" brutalize them.
