I'm hoping to get the Nirvana box set for Xmas, because there is so much unreleased stuff on there, it has to be worth a listen. I also can't wait for new Audioslave and Tool, but i have no clue when their next records will be out.

Good call on The Music!! I bought that one a few weeks ago and its is excellent! My 2 most recent cd's were Pearl Jam's Greatest hits... I already have everything of there's but i need to keep the collection complete! I also got an EP of a band from a town near Prince George called Stolen Coke... its ok.

My favorite guitar solo is in "Alive" by Pearl Jam... but not the stupid radio version that alot of stations play, the album version! But my all time favorite solo is not guitar, its John Paul Jones of Led Zeppelin's organ solo in "No Quarter"... but not the album version, the one from their live album "The Song Remains the Same". Amazing!! The ultimate chill out song.

Metallica are pretty cool. They are on my list of bands i have to see in concert still. As for a favorite song...... i'm not too sure. I've always liked their cover of Bob Seger's "Turn the Page"... maybe "Nothing Else Matters" or "One".

They're ok. At one point i liked them, but now it depends on the day! Witchy Woman is always a good song though and Hotel Cali is a good album (the only album i have).

I can't believe i'm hearing people trashing WLRRR!! I was blown away by it the 1st time i played it! I like it so much that i played it several times over... and that is something i RARELY do! I guess everyone has a opinion, but i didn't expect to hear Matt Good fans saying it was shitty! Maybe that they didn't like it, but shitty, wow!

The reason why i think its about Paris?? Lots of the lyrics made me think of her immediately when i heard the song for the 1st time. Example Slumming it with Princess Sticky Magazine Five nights on the TV and for $10,000 she'll agree To do it on camera with the American dream She seems to act like a princess... will do anything for money... and is always look for publicity (tv, photos, etc) As for it replacing "Been awhile" as the 2nd single... it was the opposite! "Fell in Love" WAS the 2nd single and at the last minute they changed it to "Been Awhile".

I've got two questions/statements regarding "Fell in Love w/ a Bad Idea." 1. I've always thought it was about Paris Hilton. Does anyone agree with that? 2. It's the 3rd single. I dont know if its been posted here, but i know i haven't seen anyone talk about it. I think it was a good choice too.

I'll be honest, this has me a little worried. Is there a link or something for this or are we just going on word of mouth??

I appear to be in the minority by saying i like Audioslave better than Rage! It was a close call, but i picked Audioslave because i thought which album would i want to listen to most and it was there's. I have all 4 of RATM's albums but i have to be in the right mood to listen to them while i could listen to Audioslave any time. In fact, i think its one of the best albums of the last 2 or 3 years. i just thought of something... Soundgarden should have been included in this!! If they were, then they woul've been my pick.

I'm not saying i hate these 2 songs, but i certainly don't like them much... "Carmalina" and "In A World Called..." From the moment i heard Carmalina i thought it wasn't very good and with IAWCC i got tired of it fast and still skip it when i listen to Avalanche.
