if i ever got to the point where i couldn't look down and see my penis, i'd shoot myself. or go on a serious diet. and, no, i don't think vista even has one service pack out yet. last week, when linux was giving me headaches and i was considering running scared back to windows, i realized what a horrible time to do that it would be. buying xp would be stupid at this point, and i wouldn't touch a new windows till the first sevice pack came out. and i don't fuck around with downloaded/hacked versions, so that wasn't even an option.

still...service pack 9. i know enough to have caught that. they got me. fuckers.

hot fuzz (with swedish subtitles, none the less). i was expecting it to be okay, but it was almost as good as shaun of the dead! if i didn't have an affinity for zombies, it would have be as good as shaun of the dead. i can't remember their names, but the guys who made these films are awesome, and i look forward to the next one.

if i had a super awesome life, i would choose sleeping, cuz existense is a precious commodity when you're happy. 8 hours a day sleeping is a third of every day (duh) gone.

no, i didn't realise it was joke, but that explains why it doesn't make sense, and why i couldn't find any info on it. the article was linked on the blog of a 'linux guru' guy (marcel gagne) that i get an rss feed from. he made no indication of it being a joke, so he either didn't get it, or is perpetuating the joke. that's cool that dell is gonna offer an alternative, though. i've heard that it's a bitch to find a pre-made computer for sale with linux pre-installed.

someone on here recommeded 'abbatoir blues/lyre of orpheous' to me a while back in my john butler thread. i checked it out and liked it. some new recommendations? is grinderman any good? the guy at hmv told me it was nick cave's new project. he wasn't very familiar with nick cave himself, but said his friends who like his other stuff like it.

i don't get the motive behind it. it can't be that good, or they wouldn't be giving it away. why generate competition for your own cash cow?
