i liked their first album. although, i'll never forgive tom morello for the solo in 'be yourself'.

i woke up and it was 5 am. it sucked.

i haven't paid attention either. i wouldn't have known it was him on this album if i hadn't looked it up. i would have just thought 'hey this part sounds like old nine inch nails'.

how's the view from up there?

i wouldn't call you crazy, but i'd say listen to it first. and danny lohner's work on this is more appealling to my ear than trent reznor's work on the new nin album.

so can you listen to a band, and say "oh, that's josh freeze's drumming...i'd know him anywhere, cuz he's really interesting" without knowing in advance that it's josh freeze?

it's pretty easy to find. isohunt.com and search for black light burns. the album's called "cruel melody". it's a quick torrent.

i'm listening to the album right now. i guess it leaked a while ago. not hard to hear danny lohner's influence. so far so good.
