  1. i'm gonna wait for the higher performance version: the imaxipad.
  2. nag champa is nice. myrrh is more nicerer.
  3. thanks for perpetuating a stereotype.
  4. it's a mouth based video game.
  5. i also forgot joel plaskett - three, in the best of. 27 songs, and only one i don't like (drifter's raus).
  6. butt dumpling? did you just call me a turd? another impossible fantasy concert: red sparowes opening for tool and 70s led zeppelin (not a reunited zep). an encore with maynard doing no quarter with zep.
  7. that book was so bad, that when i finished it, i couldn't stand to see it on my shelf, and ended up ditching it on the way to work.
  8. explosions in the sky, and fair to midland opening for nine inch nails. either the touring band for fragile or downward spiral. with some sort of crazy, extended encore involving all three jamming.
  9. almost done trainspotting. the death of bunny munro by nick cave, and shake hands with the devil by romeo dallaire are in queue. don't know which i'll read first.

  13. stu's gorgeous blue tele is a valley arts.
  14. the last song was empty's theme park. and he did apparitions. he also played fought to fight it. the only song he didn't play off the new album was silent army in the trees. great show.
  15. i was wrong to doubt them. album of the year. my only beef with it is that a looking in view is about 2 minutes too long.
  16. it's just okay. i don't like the first two songs at all. or johnny guitar. i like the fixer, amongst the waves and unthought known. some other songs on it are growing on me, but s/t was way better, as well as everything else, except no code, which is still better in its first half than this.
  17. empty's theme park definitely deserved its own side.
  18. pre-ordered metric - fantasies (vinyl) pre-ordered joel plaskett - three (vinyl)
  19. there is a tour sampler available free on the nin site. two nin songs, two jane's addiction, and two streetsweeper. the jane's addiction songs are studio versions of songs from their first/live album. the first nin song i've never heard before, but i enjoyed. the second is a studio version of non-entity and i love it. streetsweeper eat a dick. i only listened to their first song, but yeah...shit version of rage.
  20. i just found it anticlimactic to have the giant battle for the first half and then wind down for another hour. i can't say i was expecting the ending to be like it was, but i really wasn't surprised by any of it. and the enfeebled roslin was really getting to me by the end of the series. just fucking die already, and stop hacking and coughing and and being all "i'm so sick, but i must hang on to annoy some random". i did enjoy when chief iced that bitch. i had forgotten about what she'd done till she got all worried about them seeing each others memories. and i liked that the tin cans got their freedom. i don't know...i wasn't bad, like the whole series, it just kinda dragged on for me.
  21. hour one: bad ass. though, i roll my eyes whenever roslin is on screen. edit: after hour two, i've realized that this two hours has summed up my experience of the whole series. kick ass, and nail biting in the beginning, and boring at the end.
