I haven't had any problems with the app. It's pretty good, it's basically his website but in app form which is nice since it has news/tourdates/info all there.

Pretty sure your gps will work anywhere in the world for free, at least I've found that to be the case. Your phone isn't connecting to a cell tower, I think you could even take the sim card out of your phone and the gps would still work.

I started reading Atlas Shrugged a few years ago but only made it about a quarter of the way through before I stopped. I don't know lol, maybe I'll give it another try one day, but I just wasn't super into it at the time. Haven't touched Anthem, how does it compare to Atlas Shrugged?

(not sure if there was already a topic like this, did a few searches but nothing came up!) I started reading Infinite Jest recently when I saw that Jason Segel is going to be in a movie about the author. I'm really enjoying it so far, that opening chapter is really good! I actually bought the book about 5 years ago but never got around to reading it and then started travelling for a few years and it's so huge I didn't really have room for it in my luggage haha. I've actually got about 10 or so books that I bought that I need to read, + I need to read book 5 of A Song of Ice and Fire before I watch any of season 5 of Game of Thrones, oof I've got a huge backlog of books to read! Anyone else reading anything good, or bad? Any recommendations?

The maps look cool, I've never actually played d&d but i listen to a podcast of some guys playing (The Adventure Zone: check it out because it's super funny).

hmmm, I seem to be eating my words; the album version turned out really well and i actually can't stop listening to the song now.

I'm going through all the demos, and honestly I think All You Sons And Daughters is the weakest track. Los Alamos is amazing, Harridan, Tiger By The Tail and Cloudbusting are great, All You Sons And Daughters sounds like filler to me, and the rest are good. I guess I'll have wait until Friday to hear how it turned out..

Also I noticed Matt changed his twitter picture to a 20-sided die, so I'm guessing the new record will be called Chaotic Neutral, which I still think is an awesome name for an album.

I wonder if the album version will be much different than the demo version he posted. I think he made a comment at some point about how Warne would be producing the record and that some of the songs might turn out different.

These songs are pretty good, I think Loner is my favourite.

How many records is the Avalanche vinyl? Audio of Being is only an hour and 4 minutes, Avalanche is an hour and 10. edit: by 4 records does he mean 2 discs at 2 records per side?

if you listen to Underdogs it's full of his vibrato, it's just less noticeable. i haven't verified this but i'm pretty sure you can find it in every song since last of the ghetto astronauts. it's just the way he sings. go listen to Via Dolorosa and then listen to Vermilion, it's only slightly more noticeable in Via Dolorosa, and I want to say that it's just because the quality of the audio is better.

Has a name been confirmed for the album? Also does anyone have the demos for Girls in Black, or Cold Water? I'd like to hear them again before the album comes out.

Any word on song count for the album? There have been a bunch of demos but I'm not entirely sure how many. Somehow I doubt Matt's including Something Like A Storm, and I'm not sure about Refusing To Leave Space Camp, I seem to recall him saying he was abandoning a few of the early demos??? edit: Also this quote is getting me pumped for the album, I feel like all the demos had a nugget of awesome that wasn't quite fully explored, and Warne having worked with Matt so much in the past seems like the perfect key to unlocking those nuggets.

I am so excited for this, I love X-Files. And yes, the Lone Gunmen died (sadface).
