  1. good question, i'd like to know the answer to this too.
  2. i've removed my television from my surroundings because it was simply being a big black hole of doom that never got used. i watched dexter online a few days ago though.
  3. first ranking is "a popular Los Angeles news anchor for KABC-TV from the early 1970s to the late 1990s" on wikipedia, but the second listing is my business. decent.
  4. what is the difference (if there is one) between owning a domain name and simply registering it? how does a company get the rights to sell a domain? a friend of mine says that registering with go daddy is the best way because they are certified and it means you own the name. is this true? i'm about to register a few domains and am trying to figure out the best route, but i'm having a bit of a hard time finding information about this type of stuff. is there a way to to buy these and own them forever, or will i always have to pay a yearly fee and lose the name if i don't? any knowledge you can share on this topic is greatly appreciated.
  5. yeah, i've seen it a few times this week maybe.
  6. LOL, nice comparison.
  7. i'd say part of it is because unless you're starting up a completely new conversation, it's just annoying having to open up several threads and check them when the discussion could easily be kept condensed into one area.
  8. that was terrifying
  9. haha, yes! i love this thread. i had broccoli and cheddar quiche.
  10. i find him to be mildly funny, but i can't really get into him. not my style i guess.
  11. you're crazy, no one likes balls that bounce good!
  12. seriously sodamn, i appreciate trying to start conversation but the threads are getting excessive. this one is pretty unnecessary.
  13. fuck that. dollar store batteries are shit. now i want a bouncy ball ;)
  14. i purchased some supplies to make my halloween costume. also, from time to time they some stores will have super cheap canvases which is fun for practice.
  15. appears quite happy in his relationship
  16. haha, that's what i'm talking about ;) i'm not going to lie, i enjoy the hell out of debate. that's why i liked having ecnarf around
  17. fair enough. i definitely agree that some of the shit he posts is redundant or unnecessary, and that he should probably be a little more selective on what's worth starting a new topic for. at least he's trying to create new conversation though, and it's not like it takes more than a few minutes to check the topic and see if it's of interest.
  18. your picking on him could be just as much of an indication that he has a chance with you. negative attention is still attention. i'm not really defending the guy, i'm just making a general point that the entire situation is kind of stupid and actually fortified by the very people who claim not to enjoy it.
  19. it wouldn't be difficult to just ignore his posts, but you obviously go out of your way to expose yourself to them (at least sometimes) - i've seen you post in his thread. it seems like ridiculing chris has just become habit and additional entertainment to many of you, and as though he has been chosen to be the punching bag around here. this kind of behaviour only shows a lack of self esteem on the attackers part in my eyes. regardless of the reasons it occurs, i think the constant ridicule only makes things worse for everyone. it's kind of like when you don't like a cat and it will rub up against you, trying to be your friend, even though these actions are probably just turning you off even more. does anyone get what i'm trying to say here? i personally find the constant bullying to be equally (if not more) annoying than his posts. if people don't like his contributions, why the hell does he get so much attention? isn't it common sense to remove focus from the things you dislike? if i'm not interested in something that is posted on this board, i simply don't waste my valuable time reading it.
  20. i must not have been around for this time when he "wasn't annoying" because i don't recall the situation ever being different. either way, i don't see how picking on him improves anything. the dude clearly just wants attention, entertainment and conversation like the rest of us. maybe it's not your taste, but he's not hurting anyone.
  21. why is everyone so hard on Chris?
  22. pulls some impressive flow
  23. has been quite different since his return to bored (in a nice way).
  24. doesn't know my true identity
