I was thinking the same thing about that post he made Julie. I have a life sawgr, but you must not have much of one if you feel the need spend your time looking for places to insult people online. MG's blog is one I read everyday and it's hard not to be curious when you see an off the wall comment like that. Especially if you've been a long time reader such as myself and being once accustomed to hearing about his wife regularly, which came to a sudden halt and she disappeared from the blogosphere. When you read anyone's blog everyday, and hear about their personal life, you'd be lying if you said you didn't wonder what was up when it stopped. I even read Jenny's blog from time to time for a laugh and wondered why it was gone. I had always assumed it was because of the harrassment issues she was dealing with but this could explain it as well. oh and btw, I'm already taken. Matt's a great artist and an inteligent guy, but I'm no teeny bopper, in love fan guys! stop making fun! ;)

does anyone know why? This is the first I hear of it. I'm fairly new to the forum, so I guess I missed that thread...

Any Rage song would be amazing, that is the best post I've read on this thread. There are a lot that Matt could do without much problem but I' d like to see him make it interesting ... Ashes In The Fall, Freedom, Killing In The Name, Vietnow, Down Rodeo any of those would amaze me. I miss Rage Against The Machine, the world has gone downhill since their departure.

You guys are quick. I keep missing all the demos and I'm online constantly, I don't get it. I was away on vacation for a week though with no connection. I don't get all the comments about this song being outdated. These issues will be part of history forever...making it relevant always... I think it's brilliant.

So I just went through all of Good's songs, trying to find some that I don't like...but I can't really find any without knowing that I'd change my mind with my mood. Everytime I think there's a song I don't particularly like, it ends up being one of my favorites at one point or another. Matt's music is so diverse that I can't help but like all of it for that reason. I could listen to his music for a year straight, no one else, and not get bored because there's so much variety. Maybe I sound like a big suck up, but it's my truth and I stand by it!

If it's all because he's canadian, then explain why Sarah McLachlan (who you can't deny is an outspoken canadian) has done so well in the US?

Sold your Matt Good cds?? I hope it was because you were broke and starving. Keeping the digital files are not, originals are a must for a true fan. I guess as a musician and graphic designer I appreciate the package as a whole on a different level than some...

I'd love to hear any of his older songs, simply because I've never heard a lot of them...

I couldn't vote on this without feeling like a liar. I think most of Matt Good's songs are underated if anything. If I were to chose one though, it would be "hello time bomb" which wasn't on the list. I think this choice is largly influenced by video however...

Fated is definitely a favorite here. But there are many I haven't heard and am hoping to get through this place!
