I'm a drummer, singer, keyboard and guitar player ;) I usually just play MG songs on guitar though (easier to do alone and sing or with one other person)

I couldn't agree more. I love the way he executes that song accoustically. It seems so emotionaly charged and it actually made me appreciate the original version more in some way. X-wing I mean.

Do you love it because it sounds good accoustic or because it's drastically changed from the original? I really enjoy the new take on Generation X-Wing myself. My boyfriend likes the new North American For Life because he thinks the music suits the lyrics better.

I couldn't agree more. I think that's a large part of why so many people end up feeling like they know him and begin to really care for him like they would any friend. Matt's very real and that's what makes him great in my book.

Sorry for your loss Kevin. Losing someone you care for is never easy. My current boyfriend and I got together partially because of Matt Good. He saw my cd collection in college and we started talking about music and went to see MG together about a month later and were together not long after that night.

People who are petty and have nothing better to do with they time than to tell others that they have no lives (I don't see the hypocracy there...lol) can go waste their ever so packed and amazing lives somewhere else.

It's nice to see there are some people on here that don't feel the need to attack this post. I only mentioned this in hopes to hear some truth about the matter before believing something I read in a comment on the blog, and as Corrin mentioned, better understand some of the things he's been writting about.
