  1. Jason, i remember you! where have you been??
  2. i should never have given into my curiosity about meatspin
  3. wow, that's intense. i'm glad you and your family are alright!
  4. flying doesn't make me nervous at all. plus, i'm going to die anyway, what do i care if it's from a plane crash?
  5. i just can't get into rap anymore. even the funny stuff, i just get bored for some reason. this is pretty pop but i like it, get ready.
  6. what the fuck?
  7. definitely. this generalization seems really old school to me, like something that would happen among "working men" and "housewives".
  8. 365, i was kind of like you at one point. i'm not saying that i don't believe there's some fishy business going on behind the scenes (there's no doubt about it in my opinion – every person in this world is on their own personal agenda, including those with the most influence/power), but do you seriously think the second Holocaust could be pulled off with so many people watching for it? have a little faith in human kind, we're not all sheep you know. i can see that you really just want make sure everyone knows that the devil is in town before he stabs us all in the back, but unless you want to promote the ideals you're clearly against, putting the thought out there and leaving it speak for itself is all you can do. what people do with the thoughts you share is their choice and that is what makes this a free world. debate will get you no where when it comes to beliefs unless someone is looking for a change in their reality. like i said earlier, "a person convinced against their will is of their opinion still". if you're into "talk" style videos go check out consciousmedianetwork.com and try to gather some varying opinions on what's going on in this world, because there's a lot more to it than all this propaganda and it's still from a source that i think someone like yourself might consider credible. from what i gather, you strike me as the type who has no faith in any well known news source because of who ultimately owns and thus naturally drives the main message/plot of them (i rarely follow the news because of this. i work in marketing – i'm not falling for anyone's shit, and a lot of the mainstream media is just that). anyway, fear itself is the only thing to fear and it seems that whatever you're exposing yourself to has made you a little antsy, so you may want to try opening up to some new ideas… otherwise you're only contributing to the negativity in this world if you don't stop focusing on it, know what i mean? quantum physics, check it out.
  9. holy shit that's cool, thanks for posting owen!
  10. "It is no measure of health to be well adjusted to a profoundly sick society." Jiddu Krishnamurti
  11. calling someone crazy because they have a different opinion or perception than your own only makes you appear desperate to discredit them. why so sensitive? political and religious debate is pretty pointless in an environment like this. a person convinced against their will is of their opinion still. oh, and sodamn:
  12. did you get the gay jesus one? i'm with the consensus.
  13. isn't it? that show has life taking over abilities.
  14. thanks for the recommendation, i'm enjoying it on the first listen!
  15. grand theft bus is a pretty awesome band from the east coast. olivier jarda is actually a friend of mine who's doing quite well with his music and goes to oxford in england so he tours in both canada and overseas. i believe clothes make the man are from ontario. i've never seen them live, but a few friends of mine are long time fans and i think their stuff is really catchy. Also, if you're by any chance a bloc party fan, their new album intimacy is great.
  16. Weightless - Nada Surf
  17. attention kitten lovers:
  18. i'm pretty sure it's bunching because i have boobs, if you look at the photo carefully you'll see that the other armpit bunches as well. this happens to slinky material like this regardless of whether or not there's a shirt under it. material just does that, unless you chose not move, which i clearly did before this photo was taken. anyway, you don't like the combo. point taken. i like to experiment at indie pop because the chances of me having the craziest outfit there are pretty slim. sometimes my attempts might be a bust, but that's part of the fun.
  19. layering on top of jeans is not comparable to layering a shirt and a dress. jeans are too thick for it to be justifiable, but the dress actually layers quite nicely with the right tank top. it just wasn't warm enough that day so I went for a long sleeve. lauren, me + tights = bff
  20. why, because i look like a bumble bee? haha. black is neutral, there is no color combo.
  21. thanks J! the outfit is actually a mustard shirt underneath a black, asymmetrical, one sleeved dress. it was an outfit for an "indie pop" event, and it was fitting for the occasion but actually not something i would commonly wear. i thought it was cute. most girls would probably just wear the dress alone, but i go to this event to dance and have fun with my friends, not to get hit on. i'm don't want to sound narcissistic, but when i show skin people get annoying.
  22. i've been told countless times that i look like laura prepon. a few years back a friend's mother even used to call me donna. i think it may also have to do with mannerisms.
  23. i've found that googling whatever you're looking for with the "torrent" added to the search is the easiest way to go. thepiratebay.org is my favorite though.
  24. this is basically the same as Shade's thread
