  1. 1. Tripoli 2. Truffle Pigs 3. Prime Time Deliverance 4. Advertising on Police Cars 5. The Inescapable Us 6. Indestructable 7. Weapon 8. Lullaby for the New World Order 9. Strange Days 10. Whispering In The Dark Encore: 1. Song for the Girl 2. I, The Throw Away 3. Change of Season 3. Running For Home Just thinking about it makes me happy. Yet sad because I know that won't be the set list haha. I would give my left arm for him to play Running For Home at the Toronto show.
  2. Change of Season is not only my favourite of those three, but it is hands down, my favourite MG song.
  3. I agree that Tripoli is probably my favourite off of Rooms. I had also not heard the original before. I enjoy both, but I'm still a big fan of the version on Rooms.
  4. The first time I heard Matt Good was Everything is Automatic on MuchMusic. From then on I didn't mind his music, but didn't really give it much thought. It wasn't until I started dating a guy in 2004 who adored Matt Good that I really got into him. He always made me listen to Matt Good and I in turn got hooked. Now I can't get enough of him. When I say he's all I listen to, I'm not kidding. I'm sitting at my desk at work right now with the little audio player on his website going.
  5. I'm a big fan of Audio of Being. Possibly because it was the first of his albums that I actually took the time to sit down and give a good listen to. His other albums grow on me more and more each day, so I'm sure I'll have a different opinion in a few months, but at the same time I may not.
  6. If you compare the price of Matt Good tickets to the price of, say, Coldplay tickets, I'm sure you'll see quite a difference. My mother has paid $200 for Billy Joel/Elton John tickets before. And those seats weren't even that great. Billy & Elton are definitely more well-known, but in comparison, $30 for MG tickets is not that big of a deal. My issue is not with the price of the ticket, it's with Ticketmaster and all their stupid fees. I had to pay like $10 in fees. For what?? ;)
  7. I would have to say: 1. Cash 2. NIN 3. Matt I did enjoy Matt's version, and would probably choose to listen to Matt's version over the others, strictly because I am more of a Matt fan than anything else and I adore his voice. But you cannot deny that the NIN version and Johnny Cash's version are superior. I downloaded the Matt version done live today, but I can't for the life of me remember where I downloaded it from. I was at work when I downloaded it. My brain was fried by that point.
  8. i agree. the future is x-rated always gives me a chuckle.
  9. my friend and i are notorious for quoting lines from movies. our favourites include lines from billy madison, anchorman, and so i married an axe murderer. here's a sampling: "HEED! Get the paper if ya can, haulin' that gargantuan cranium aboot!" -axe murderer. "If peeing your pants is cool, consider me Miles Davis." -billy madison. "I will slap you in public." -anchorman.
  10. stand by me st. elmo's fire
  11. Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind
  12. i'm ashamed to admit that the last movie i saw was failure to launch, that new movie with sarah jessica parker and matthew mcconaughey. ;) but i watched 40 year old virgin the other nite (i've seen it before). always a good one.

  14. song for the girl is one of my favourites. it has to be his happiest, most least bitter song. i'm personally a big fan. i'm also a fan of i, the throw away. apparently i enjoy the songs that most people dislike. as far as songs i'm not a huge fan of, i'd have to say north american for life. i used to have a great dislike for symbolistic white walls, but it's grown on me.
  15. I'm personally a fan of Hello, I'm In Delaware. And Casey's Song. The Grace by Neverending White Lights is a phenomenal song that I never get sick of. I find Dallas' voice very soothing. Overall, a big fan of his solo stuff. Not big into Alexisonfire. That's just my two cents.
  16. awesome. good to know. thanks!!
  17. I emailed them at the Cage and inquired about non-students attending as I am not a student there. I got a reply. He informed me that you have to be the guest of a student. And students can only bring one guest who is a non-student. So there's your answer! The only person I know who goes to Sheridan took the semester off. Oh well. I have tix for The Mod Club.
