Looking at my itunes, "What Sarah Said" is the only non-MG song in my top 25.

I used to creep runningforhome multiple times a day, though I never ventured into the forums.

I'm really stoked for this album. Other than I haven't heard anything that came before Transatlanticism, though I think that album is beautifully put together, as it Plans, though slightly less so.

Fuck genre distinctions, music is music.

I have my tickets for Edmonton, which is at the NAIT Jube, and I think my friend said they just renovated there too.

I'd imagine when the Calgary stop is announced, it will be either at the Jack Singer Concert Hall or the SAIT Jubilee Auditorium. I haven't ever been to the Jubilee, but the Jack is a FANTASTIC venue for any show. I've seen MG acoustic there, and a production of West Side Story, and while totally different experiences, they were both awesome, and the venue was a large part of it.

I heard Rat Who Would be King during the White Light and In a Coma tours, and full band Advertising also during In a Coma.

I know Christian used a bit of the solo during the outro to "A Long Way Down", so that doesn't really count.

He played "A Boy and His Machine Gun" while he was touring for Beautiful Midnight. I've heard it once for sure, maybe twice around that time.

I think there was a blog post that day, that has since been deleted, about someone had given out his phone number to some randoms, who had in turn left a bunch of voicemails on his phone, and he wasn't happy about that. If that WAS the same day, then I bet the dumb lady was just pushing his already pushed buttons too far and just wanted the day done and over with.

I really do enjoy playing bass along with the album version with the low Db note playing, it's tons of fun, and it's the arrangement that I definitely prefer, but hey, I'm not the one playing the songs live.

Oh it definitely is a crowd pleaser, no doubt about that, but as someone whose seen him live a fair number of times, I'd rather him drop it from the set for some songs that don't get as much live loving.
