Now, I don't think he's controversial anymore, because people expect it of him. I don't like the single that's on the radio now, and I don't think I'll like any other singles to come out. The singles follow a pattern of sorts. First, the goofy dance single, then the confessional single about how messed up his life is, then a D12 song to round it up before the whole thing starts again.

I saw the footage on CNN last night. It was awful. Sure, it's easy to blame the soldier who did it, and we can't imagine what he must have felt, having been shot in the face a day earlier, and rest assured, he'll probably face the music for his actions. If anyone should be charged, it's Bush and all those who blindly throw the troops into harms way. BTW, this is also the bloodiest month in Iraq thus far, with 68 dead and counting. Good thing Bush waited until after the election to throw this thing.

No one person more tarnished his legacy the last four years than Colin Powell. His integrity resigned in the runup to Bush's War. Nice to see the rest of him follow suit. The one rational thinker in the Repub cabinet. Powell's reign was marred by the obvious conflict between his integrity and loyalty to the Bush clan (loyalty won, integrity lost big). Rice starts with no integrity -- an obvious advantage. Her loyalty to Bush is absolute, even having her deputy take the fall for the yellowcake reference.
