  1. By worse do you mean funnier?
  2. Yeah, they did, which is why it was so surprising that they condemned this test.
  3. How do you make a dead baby float? Root beer, 2 scoops ice cream, 1 scoop dead baby.
  4. Matt and B.B. King.
  5. Japanese seismographs detected a huge jump in readings at the time the nuke went off, in the same location, where there is no major fault line and earthquakes rarely, if ever, take place. I'd say it's confirmed.
  6. Layla - Eric Clapton Goddamn Lonely Love - Drive-By Truckers True Love Waits - Radiohead
  7. Just watch Bush invade Iran after this...
  8. http://msnbc.msn.com/id/15197558/
  9. 8/10 We used the Captain Planet chant thingie as our cheer for Reach for the Top.
  10. I tried listening to some of their stuff a while back, and found it quite bland.
  11. When I was in Poenix for my cousin's wedding in November, my mom asked my aunt why there were so many Targets and hardly any Wal-Marts. She said it was because Wal-Mart was generally seen as tacky and "low-class" (my words, I can't remember what they originally were, but were something to that effect).
  12. I remember this now, but I don't remember the name at all. Damn.
  13. Jack Pillowhead?
  14. k/10 Necuase i'm drunk tand that sccared me.
  15. El Presidente - Drugstore feat. Thom Yorke
  16. Ditto. Same goes for a whole bunch of others. On the flip side, Radiohead has achieved the international fame you (sodamntired) speak of, and I love them just as much as (if not more than) many indie bands. Why not? If that's your only criteria for dismissing an otherwise great band, then that's pretty sad (not saying you do this, though). Besides, that just brings you this much closer to banging Becky.
  17. <3 Wilco. I saw them live on Canada Day this year, and all I can say is "holy shit!" Those guys are amazing live! Nels Cline is an amazing guitarist, Glen Kotche is an amazing drummer, and they can rock out with the best of them. Those guys are musicians through and through.
  18. Interpol. Gotta love those suits. And Turn On The Bright Lights is a slick, killer album.
  19. A sociopath. They look just like everyone else.
  20. I'd change my name to Joe Kickass.
  21. 7/10 Spinning heads.
  22. You work at Sobey's too? I'm in the front end, so it's not too boring, and this week is Dollar Days, so there's always lots to do. Saturday nights are a bitch, though. Dead as the grave. Crazyness, yah i hate my job haha do you? Not all the time. My supervisors are pretty cool, and when it's not Dollar Days, things are pretty slack. Still, it's not exactly the most intellectually stimulating environment ;) My worst experience so far was having to unclog a toilet, only find that it was busted and not flushing properly anyways. You know how sometimes you'll flush a plugged toilet and it start to fills up? That was what happened, with putrid brown water. So, I basically had to wait for about 5 minutes for the water to go down a little bit before I stuck the plunger in. I had to go really slow so I wouldn't splash anything on myself. 30 minutes to finish. I made sure to spray myself down with sanitizer when I finished. Ugh... /activates memory repression
  23. If you want a great record with Charlie Parker on it, check out The Quintet: Jazz at Massey Hall. It's a live recording with Parker, Dizzy Gillespie on trumpet, Bud Powell on piano, Max Roach on drums, and Charlie Mingus on bass. It's absolutely killer.
  24. I agree. The best recording is the one from when they first played it in 1995. It's only a bootleg, but it sounds more passionate than the one from I Might Be Wrong.
