very much x2. I have a cd/stereo player but it won't even play some of my newer cds. CD's are a special occasion...

when's the cd out ?

bladerunner stunk...I wonder if seeing it as an adult played a part in it's suckage. Or if I have poor taste!

It's been really really good, even the cheesy..sort of filler stuff is watchable. I'm totally bummed it's disappearing.

It almost sounds like a b-side... The drums seem a little muted, and programmed(for better or worse) Not that MG is rush... You guys think the rest of the demos/songs on the cd don't sound like this?

9 songs seems a little low for an album..but still very exciting to see some new mg music hitting the rack so to speak. I haven't heard much of the new demos(since they've become a pay service) excited for the album. Hope he finds time to tour the states, but with the baby ; / not much hope there.

I'm not up on the new stuff, but I wonder how having a rugrat to take care of will reflect in his new work? Probably won't be doing a ton of touring anymore. I wonder if he'll make it back to the states, i'm betting no : (

the show went on break...sg has done that for a while going back to atlantis. they will show the final 10 episodes in spring. I'm not sure if they have shot those episodes and it will run as if it weren't canceled? or if it will be altered due to the cancellation. I wonder if the show could get picked up somewhere else? I don't really see a major or other minor cable network doing it. Would people watch it if it were exclusively online? and pay via commercials or something?

Couldn't agree more that this crime/tragedy has immediately spun into a circus/power struggle. I have to question if a similar situation with the political/media circus wouldn't happen in Canada or really most of the "western" world? I have grave doubts this is a US only problem. It's just exacerbated by US current events constantly being thrust on a world stage. As for gun control...hmm..I don't think this is as easy as saying "no guns = better" things are different here, and not just purely from a red neck perspective. Population density, economic disparity, readily available illegal weapons, warmer weather(look up crime statistics winter vs summer) yes the vigilante red necks are also thrown in there. I don't think making a gun "illegal" is going greatly decrease the violent crime rate, I don't think that this sort of crime, doesn't happen. Perhaps you could make a case for a generation or two later the mentality of the country would change and thus these acts would become less? I had trouble finding consistent stats for crimes being stopped because of legal guns, vs crimes committed with legal guns and accidents. I've never discharged a firearm, and until those barbarian Canadians are at the end of my block threatening my freedom that's the way it will stay : ) I'd also love to see those nra donations all go towards health care, cleaning up the environment & and creating healthy jobs, or really any other more worthy cause then lobbyists and the other propaganda.

it would be awesome if someone that has a collection of the new songs/demos MG has posted if they could send some it if via pm! I'm needing a fix!

x2 to that..just finished watching this it took me like 2 months to get around to episode 10 from 9...

agree it's pretty different from old SG..it is much more battlestar. I do have a hard time believing they don't know where rush is wondering off too...but overall they've done a great job.

they are solid. I think () is by far there best cd..agatis byugen(sp!) is also good and the one with staravlur(sp) the last couple of cd's i'm not SUPEr into..but.. thursday has an AWESOME cover of ny batteri..it's just fucking brillant. It's around on the interwebs if you like both bands or either i think you'll dig it. mogwai is a similar sound and good..a lesser known band, more edgy but solid russian circles(the 2 new cds more so than the 1st) are also very good. less produced but fucking solid. they are solid. i'm interested to hear what you think bishop! After the fail that flash forward and V turned into after promising starts, this has been the only show worth watching the last while.

yep, it's a solid episode. Kinda..only kinda bummed to see old enemies, the way they did it was cool. They' given themselves a lot of angles to explore in the coming seasons it seems like finally after 15 years of trying STG has figured out how to make a truly compelling show. The only thing, for me, has been the reliance on "impossible" situation of the week, and how easily the conflict has been resolved. Obviously you aren't gonna kill of a main character let alone two or three at once, so trying to use that as the plot is lame. But overall the shows been really good and interesting.
